  1. VF-0A looks so good :)

I was considering getting it, but I won't risk getting a defective product for that huge price. I don't like the lack of tampo either. Beautiful valkyrie, not worth the price unfortunately until Arcadia fixes the hip problem (unless you can fix it yourself). I'm actually kind of mad if they already had the issue on VF-0D and didn't fix it. The problem will then probably persist on to 0S aswell. Bad way to do business.

Unfortunately, they are the only one that are producing VF-0. Not sure if Bandai has the license. It would be great if they have. Look what they did for VF-19. Cheaper too.

  2. Hope this one helps you on how to disassemble the legs and arms. Again, fix it at your own risk. ;)

Thanks for the idea on removing the shoulder part. So far so good at my end :)

This isn't in the VF-25 thread, but I made a post with pics for the YF-29 here with some follow up posts below it.

Most of it applies to the VF-25 also. To remove the arms, I believe you can just remove the screw underneath each of the die cast shoulder blocks.

Thanks! It seems like it's not possible to disassemble the legs without breaking anything

  3. I think some where in this thread shows how to disassemble the VF-25 for custom job. Does anyone have any knowledge where it is? I couldn't seem to find it and I just want to know how to disassemble the legs and arms.

    Many thanks!

  4. Exact same feeling here... I was so hyped for it and when I got it I was thoroughly unimpressed. The bare bones presentation carried through with the VF-0D and took a week of my hard work to bring it back to the point where I could look at it. So I'm not that excited about these VF-0 (they are just too expensive for what you get - I don't mind paying premium for a premium product, but IMHO, they are not) and I swore off Arcadia until something changes.

But the Reactive Armour has me thinking as I never did get a VF-0S in the past. I'm just not sure and sitting on the fence for now - but definitely not getting too excited as I've been burned by Arcadia twice now in two toy issues.

Couldn't agree more on the premium price for premium product. I don't mind the price for Bandai VF-19 Advance which I think it worth it. Having said that, I'll get VF-0S since I never had this. But that's about it for Arcadia product.

  5. Bandai releases are harder to get is because their price range still largely fall in many fan's budget. Arcadia on the other hand is getting out of reach for many. You can say one is Merc the other is heading to Rolls Royce territory. :)

  6. Generally, the Macross toys don't hold their value like the old chunky monkey in the past. If you think it's out of reach, wait for a few years when some new line comes out, members here will dump a few at a relatively affordable price. Or, save up and buy the one you really like.

  7. Need to clear up more room for baby. Here are some of the items for sale. PM me for shipping charges. Mind you, shipping charges can be expensive in Australia. All prices in USD. Please let me know yourdelivery country and I can give you the shipping estimation. I accept only PayPal.

  8. Yep, I completely agree with David. That's exactly how I feel, I've transformed my Bandais whenever I feel like it (no loose joints yet) but I leave my Yamacadias in aircraft mode only. In fact most of mine (other than the VF-1s which is nice and simple) haven't been in any other mode - every time I try (especially with the VF-4G) I think I'm going to break/snap something plastic, That stupid orange heatshield on the VF-11, that stupid rudder fold on the YF-19 (really?! it serves no purpose other than to infuriate me!) Plus they look so bare with just the minimum of markings that they look way more "toyish" than the Bandais until I have to scrounge to dress them up with water slide decals. On top of all that, I usually pay twice as much for a Yamacadia than a Bandai!

I'm really hoping for a beautiful fighter mode on this baby to satiate my desire for a decent YF-19. Come on Bandai, a lot is riding on ya for me!

Couldn't agree more. All my Yamatos are are either in fighter mode or in box. As for Bandai, I can transform to any other mode whenever I feel like (may be the YF-30 is an exception as you need to swap the hand)

Judging from the price of YF-30, my price guess is 24000 because of the super parts. I hope it could be cheaper but I think that is just a wishful thought.
