This is by far the better Transformers, finally I can say: "Up yours. Bayformers!"

After my VF-25 project (basically using parts from RVF-25  and YF-25), I left with a 'single seat' YF-25. So I decided for a straight repaint and call it XF-25 Archangel. The XF-25 is used only for various trials and tests. hence the white nose and orange tails. I have adopted F-22 style paint scheme with the reference from the Master Filed VF-25 book. It turns out to be quite a good looking bird. Now, only if I have time for the Super pack...

Just bought some used DX Super Armour set from Mandarake. It came through without any extra tax. Looks like Mandarake business is less than A$75k a year in Australia. A$75k is a threshold for overseas business regarding collection of GST for Australia government.

Yes HLJ price is no longer competitive. I use them less and less as well.

I only hope that one day Bandai will make a VF-1D, VT-1 and VE-1

• VE-25 - My old mod from RVF-25 with parts from YF-25. It will be sold as is. It had been played with, the hip joints are very loose. It managed to stand but not pose able. I saw some thread about fixing it in the Toy section, you are welcomed to try. There are some paint chips as well, some decals worn off. You can fixed it with 1/72 F/A-18, F-14 or better with VF-1 decals. All other items are standard RVF-25 items (complete) and will shipped in RVF-25 box. Note: The two stabiliser in the photos belongs to other model. ($50)

• Bandai DX VF-171 - transformed once or twice and displayed in plane mode. All joints are tight no broken triangle ($130)

VF-1D variant is going to be really expensive very quickly. One can always build a similar 1/72 F-14 model using the same scheme though

Hmm... HLJ probably bank on the Aussie buyers will buy from them to save the hassle of dealing import tax after 1st July this year. So far I think HLJ is the only company that collect GST for Australia government. For those sellers that do not do this, the goods will be taxed at custom and I suspect that the Australian custom would slap you an.expensive processing fee on top of the tax. Has any Aussies here know if one would be slapped with other charges on top of the tax?

For Aussie fans that miss the pre-order, there's a local online retailer still accept pre-order. Haven't dealt with them before, so can't say if they can fulfil the pre-order. Not terrible expensive though. And only pay when release.

Going through some old Diaclone catalogue and found something interesting. There were two different catalogue about the F-15 Robo (which become the Seekers in Transformers). As attached here, on the left seems to be very different from the final production (on the right) that we got. It seems that the ones on the left are prototypes or something. Starscream would have looked a bit different then

I like the box though and the price is right, had it been around ¥27K I think I would've skipped. ¥20k is good. But till looks like a DX HMR with the old 1/48 gimmicks smacked on....Amd definitely not replacing all my all 1/48 Yammies though, too much hassle. Plus they're already not worth much, and I bet the price will plummet even more if Bandai announce an entire 1/48 line. Will most likely end up keeping everything as usual.....One thing though...It's a fact that Japanese collectors have a soft spot for smaller scales in general. Not to mention most people have settled for 1/60. Will it have enough appeal? 

Wonder what Arcadia is thinking right now, we're getting a 1/48 VF tampo' d to death VF-1J for less cash than their premium 1/60 .RIP?

All the Aussie members here, do you foresee problem getting this (in fact, everything) overseas after 1st July this year? I wonder what sort of mess would it be. I don't think NY, HLJ and AmiAmi would give a damn about registering a tax account with OZ government.

 For all non-Aussie members, after 1 July, we will be tax 10% (GST) even if we bought $1.00 item from overseas. Unlike VAT in UK, which the tax is collected by the carrier, our brilliant government ask the overseas sellers to register a tax account with Aust government and collect the tax for them, as if the overseas sellers would give a damn about it.

I don't think NY is going to deliver. Good chances that will cancel all orders and magically some stocks will appear with much higher price two three months later. 

The reason I said this is because they are so quick to refund you. I asked if there is chance the order to be fulfilled in the foreseeable future. If not, please consider cancelling the order. The next moment I received a refund notice. 

NY is quick to refund the moment you indicates you may want to cancel the order. NY will probably wait for most if not all pre-orders to be cancelled and then raise the price to sell the stock at hand.

Just got my MPM Barricade. Here's a quick comparison with HA Barricade in vehicle mode.

HA Barricade on the left, MPM on the right.

HA Barricade has actual interior and the underside of the HA look neater an tighter than MPM.

Overall, the tampo printing and paint scheme on the MPM is sharper and look closer to the movie. It also spot more details silver painted rear mirrors, fog lights and exhaust. MPM is a tad smaller than the HA counterpart.

You are right, it is the exact same mold with some improvement done on it. It has the exact same transformation. I have the DOTM Starscream and can vouch for it. Same goes with Blackout, it's not entirely new mold as some say, it just old mold with improvement.
