My point is, that sooner or later, I going to have to upgrade. My first PS2, which I've had for years, finally gave up the ghost (and it's been a damn good one) early last month. Fortunately, I had one of the newer compact units, which I received as a gift Christmas before last, stored away as a back-up.

But you know the old saying. "Nothing lasts forever". And I have a sneaking suspicion that the PS2 won't enjoy the longevity that the PS1 did, once Sony gets the PS3 on the right track (the issues sorted out).

buying a new ps2 and xbx360 is still cheaper than buying a ps3

yestarday i got those red lights one the machine, i thought I was sol and my machine was dead.

I turned it off for a few minutes and turn it back on, and it was working fine again.

what does this mean? i got lucky? or is my machine close to death?

this is my 2nd machine since Blackfriday 2006, only about 4 months.

Hi, my tv went kaput, and I got $760 store credit at CC to buy a new one, I plan on buying a better tv, but dont want to go over $1200 on it.

if they are releasing another edition, it should be on High def, release it for both Blue ray and HD DVD.

Otherwise its pointless to release it yet again for dvd.

Pictures has moved the release date for its big screen adaptation of "Speed Racer" up two weeks from May 23rd 2008 to May 9th 2008. They've also set the film for a day-and-date release in most international markets.

The aim is to give the film "maximum playability" in most international markets before the start of the European Soccer Championships. The Wachowski brothers are directing the high-octane actioneer based on the classic anime series about a young car racer.

The film is now slotted comfortably between "Iron Man" on the 2nd, "Narnia: Prince Caspian" on the 16th, "Indiana Jones IV" on May 23rd, and the remake of "The Day The Earth Stood Still" on the same day.

I just bought a Toyota $runner 2007, and at the dealer they are $150 each for the front seats, so $300 for both seats.
