That red VF-25 is in Macross Trial Frontier, the PS3 game that comes on the Blu-ray with the new movie. I didn't notice if it is in the movie or not though.

Where's the hate for the 1/100 Banpresto VF-1a/j/s? This is easily the worst toy I own (not just Macross). I know it's supposed to be a prize for those toy grabber games, but it is built so poorly. Every joint is loose and the thing won't hold any of its 3 transformation modes.

Another picture of Macross Fighter Collection 4 from AmiAmi. You can't really see much in this one, so I'm hoping somebody else at the Chara Hobby event takes a better one.

That's how I have mine. It stays, at least until you touch it or move it slightly. Then it falls off.

OH! Yeah, mine does that too. Also, the other day my Robot Spirits Queadluun Rare fell over and knocked it down. Most of the other ones it landed on stayed on their stands.

Some of them were hard to get to work with the stand. The VF-0D was one off the top of my head.

Here's how I have mine on the stand. The vertical things are in the outermost positions, which means they catch the wings just inside the center flap markings.

It was a VF-1A Max with the zentraedi uniform paint job....It may have been a custom but i could have sworn that it was being sold as part of a box set.

I actually have that one from the Chara Works set, it is a little further right from where the picture cuts off on my Desk o' Macross.

Some of them were hard to get to work with the stand. The VF-0D was one off the top of my head. Did you have that problem?

Yep, it was a little tough to balance. When I get home I'll see if I can take a picture of how I did it.

Yesterday the VF-25F Sheryl 'Galaxy' version from MFC1 arrived. Unless there are some I don't know about that's my last one.

I actually didn't like the SV-51 much until the VF-27 came along. After drooling over the 27 for a while I noticed the similarities with the 51.

I have a Japan Post "Special Services Mail" package that's been sitting in New York since July 28th. I wonder how long before I can complain to USPS.

Those are some old school Macross toys... sorta.

I've never been busted 'cause I don't hide it. When it's time for the Valkyries to fly, they fly.

Too bad I usually just pose them and then leave 'em because I never want to mess up the neat pose.

I may be wrong, but I don't think Bandai usually do Wonder Fest.

In other news Hobby search has their preorder page up. I just placed mine.

I ordered the Soul Stage Act 5 for my VF-1J and it arrived today. Aside from being a pretty good stand to hold up the Valk in Gerwalk I was pleasantly surprised that it actually comes with three stands instead of one.

Since Wonder Festival is on now I was hoping Bandai would have a booth showing these, but I haven't read anything or seen any new pictures.

I thought I'd be content with my Hi-Metal VF-1J and leaving the rest of these alone... I can't help myself, I'm pre-ordering the VF-1S strike.

I'm so very sorry for you. I have one of those and it's the only one of my 100+ Macross toys I'm not willing to keep on display.

That's odd. I've placed 21 orders with Hobby Search so far and never had any problem with them. I have sometimes seen a $1 hold from either "GMOPEIMENTOGETOUEIKA" ("GMO Payment Gateway" in Romaji)or Veritrans, but those have always gone away when the real transaction went through.

This looks cool and I'm definitely going to get a couple of boxes, but it still seems lacking. I really want to see the Macross Plus valks with fold boosters, more enemy valks, a ghost on a VF-0, some VF-11s and some VF-17s.. There are about a million valks they haven't covered, but my little list there is really the essential ones. Macross Fighter Collection 5 maybe?

Oh, and they seem to be forgetting that Michel's VF-25G got a fold booster too.

i hope they make a VF-4 so i can finally get my hands on a VF Hi-metal fig.

Got mine this morning. The only part of this I don't agree with is the "favorite VF-1 toy" bit. My favorite VF-1 remains the 1/250 Bandai MFC version since it has no part swapping, no loose joints, no parts that break etc.

I can't wait until more versions of this come out. It'll be neat to see how/if they handle super parts or armor.

My VF-1J is sitting at the post office waiting for me. They tried to deliver it while I was at work.

Personally, I just can't see how a Macross "staple" like Max's -1J can be made into a web exclusive. A MacII VF-2SS? Maybe. But Max, and all by himself, too? You can't have a Max -1J without Milia.

It seems to me like Max and Milia are exclusives pretty often. Both transforming and non-transforming Max and Milia Revoltechs were exclusives, for example.

Hi, someone know the release date?

Hobby Search says the release date for the regular VF-1J is "June". My preorder hasn't shipped yet.

I wish I could say that either Triangle or Information High immediately pop into my head when I'm swooping my VF-27 around, but I've played too much Macross Ultimate Frontier and it has conditioned me to think of Lonely Holy Night from M7. I don't like Lonely Holy Night much, but it is better than Planet Dance.
