Graham, do you know which magazine, if any, shows the revised 1/100 VF-0?
-
No one better remake Flesh Gordon!
Why not? They've already made a sequel.
I knew you guys were gonna say that sooner or later!
I could see it now!! Stephen Sommers is gonna screw this up one way or another.
-
Thanks for your answer Graham!
Now I see why it would be an added bonus if the König and the VF-0S came with clips
Yeah. Thanks for clarifying things up.
-
Thanks for the scan.
I can't wait until this baby hits the streets
It sure is at the top of my buy list!!!
Thanks for the scan Graham!!! It's in my "To Buy" list.

possibly...i doubt the VB-6 is going to have a lot of diecast (if any) so it might still be just barely be able to be displayed on the stand
Not on shuttle mode though.

I don't think the director's cut was released until the early 1990s. I remember going to the opening day at the Nuart in Santa Monica. While I was excited to see it, now I hate it because I can't find a decent copy of the original on DVD... hmmm... maybe I'll check evil-bay...
So the original on DVD is kinda hard to find?
-
Whoa. That looks cool.
Ditto!!!
-
Btw, Renato, Graham, where are the pics??
-
Vostok 7: "FLASH!! Ahhh-Ahhhhhhh! He saved every one of us!!!"
Don't even get me going there. I want a newly remastered DVD version of this fine cheesefest. Yeah, sure they released it before, but they stopped printing it after what, one week? Go, Flash, go!! *Runs around cheering and clapping hands in weird manner like Dale Arden*
Flash Gordon is cool, even though it was kinda a little bit cheezy.

Transformers. LEGO's good, but so expensive/overpriced. Seriously---"small plastic cubes that cost .03 cents to make--$50" I always wondered if all the money goes to R&D for the instructions...
Actually, if you buy the generic bucket o' blocks sets or the designer series sets they're not that bad. It's the licensed (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Spiderman, etc.) that are more expensive. I like the Star Wars sets because they come with some cool pieces, but the sets themselves aren't the greatest.
Anyway, LEGO is my favorite toy.
Same here. Especially the LEGO Technique sets.

Not bad??

Does anybody knows the dimentions of that thing? 2 kg converts to about 4lb right?... more than my cat weights... even if one pound is only box and packaging, 3lb of plastic is still a lot of plastic
Maybe all that plastic is used to protect the toy?
-
it would make sense and would be an added bonus...might boost demand for stands too
Dang! You beat me to the answer! It makes sense to me too, but the thing is, can the Yamato display stand take the weight of the VB-6?
-
yo check this out a signed and drawn on 1/48 vf-1a hikaru valk
dood, that's nice!! I'd love to have that!! I'd never sell it!
I'd love to have that too. However got that is soooooo lucky!!! Btw Patt, check ur PM @ Anime Punch.

CDN$175 - CDN$184.......me like get one!!!!! (excuse the caveman talk)
Wait a minute, did I get the price range right??
-
Thanks for sharing the scan with us. Ooooohhhhhh!!! A Mylene fig!
-
Renato or Graham, please oh please post pics of the VB-6 transformation from the mag?! I wanna see!!!!
-
if you notice the new knee is also curved more...probably to allow for better ballance/support in gerwalk mode...that could've been the reason why the figure was put up on a stand instead of having it's feet down and everything
Pretty much like the VF-11B, right?
-
Ken, honestly, I'm not sure if I still want the kit. With all the tuition fees, books, rent, etc. and with the release of Yamato's VB-6 & the 1/100 VF-0, I 'm not sure I'll still have some left over for this kit. We'll see what happens.

Maybe to make it more asthetically pleasing? How does it look like in the oav?
The CG pic of the VF-0S on the Bandai Visual Macross Zero site shows it as being 'V' shape.
Graham
Now I'm all clueless.
I'm guessing that the revised knee sculpt was to improve knee articulaltion.
I mean why change it to make it less anime accurate unless there is some reason to, like improving articulation or durability.
Graham
That makes sense.
-
I wonder, would a larger scale VF-0 be viable since it's revision?

Fighter mode looks beautiful as always, battroid looks much better, but I'm not getting it 'till I see it in gerwalk mode. Remember that the knees could barely bend on the previous sculpt.
Well, after further study of the photos of both the new and old sculpts, I've also noticed that the shape of the cut-out below the knee has been changed from a 'V' shape to a straight line (see comparison pic below).
Not sure if this will have a positive or negative affect on the amount the knees can bend in Gerwalk mode though.

What about Alien Resurrection??? that has to be the worst!!! followed by Hulk, Spiderman, Daredevil and all the comic crap.
uh... you haven't seen very many movies have you?
I would gladly watch any of those movies 10 times for every 1 viewing of 2001: A Space Oddessey(sp)... Biggest. Snoozefest. Ever.
Spiderman rocked!!! 2001: A Space Oddessey: Wake me up when it's over.
