Doesn't everybody wish that?! Anyways, still hopin' for the YF-19FP.:(

    YF-19

If they did, it would sell out so fast , they wouldn't know what hit them. In any case, how can you get this 1/100 prebuilt kit? Is there a place you can order this from?

  2. Hey Guys,

Well after a few months hiatus from Macross i've finally decided that I've missed visiting this site!

I was a bit suprised to see the lack of updates on this project. Has this project fallen off the face of the world??? I know Yamato was planning on producing a full run on the Koenig Monster but I was hoping that this project would have continued. If we are dead in the water please give us an updated. Chris... Melissa... Angel's Fury... Anyone??? I'm sure everyone is wrapped up w/ the Holidays and I sure hope everyone that begain this amazing project is doing well. If you guys/gals have any news please let us know.

Thanks and I hope everyone has a great Holiday!!!

    Gene :)

Nothing so far Gene. Ken must be really busy, other than that, I have no clue.

  3. I too am quite curious as to why Yamato seems to have broken off contact so abruptly with Graham, after, as he said in his own words he gave them so much word of mouth advertising and praise.  I remember when he was telling us about all the dinners he would go to with Yamato's people to discuss Macross toys and to see what was going on with the community, now there is nothing.  Seems that there is a story to tell here and I would like to hear it......

    Twich

Yamato got a new president and he doesn't like talking to fanboys. Graham wasn't the only one to get cut off.

It probably didn't help that he visited this website once...

Yamato's new president obviously forgot that his company relies on relationship marketing.

  4. so I guess this is perhaps a preview of the prototype Yamato YF-19 that we've been waiting for.

how long have we been waiting for the 19? not that yamatos a "wish fulfillment center"(one of my favorites quotes) so i'll believe it when i see it....and i mean when i really see it, like in a box, at comic con or something of those lines. otherwise it nothing pipe dreams.

Let's just hope it won't just be vaporware.

  5. The Liquid Stone YF-19 resin kit is really impressive and with the folding front landing gear. I hope that Sakurawa-san has taken the Yammie YF-19 FP on this route..... So I guess that this kit may perhaps be the anticipated Yamato YF-19  that we all have been waiting for......I'd like an army of YF-19s.

Same here. I can't wait for that!!!

Looks reat, though it really looks like Yamato's regular crappy stickers, so I'm keeping it bare. Maybe Anasazi can cook up some decals for it

I hope so!? It would be a shame to just leave the Koenig bare!?

  6. And the problem reports start rolling in:

    from slashdot

Reports are coming in that the initial shipment of PSP units is seeing some defective units getting to the public.

    These defects include:

    # Dead pixels, as many as 3 per screen with the problem.

    # Broken UMD drives.

    # Analog nubs not working. Sony has yet to make any official announcement about any of these issues, and about how users with any of these problems can recitfy them.

Be sure to check back for Sony's response to these issues. UPDATE: More problems ahoy!

    # Analog nubs not just not working, but actually falling off.

    # PSP is turned on, but does not start up.

    # Screen has air bubbles. Screen has dust on the inside.

Also, as for the UMD drive problems, some have reported the drive not closing completely, and the UMD, when the PSP is twisted, actually flies out!

Most retailers are stressing the fact that these problems don't occur in the majority of PSPs, but take caution in importing until Sony gives an official announcement.

"Dead pixels, as many as 3 per screen with the problem." Remember their no return for X dead pixels business? Here you go.

I think Nintendo just scored an Ace in the hole with their own worry free release compared to this.

Seems like Sony is already lagging behind against Nintendo's DS.
