IMHO I don't get why Alto is getting ranked over Michel in most of these lists. In the first episode it's pretty much stated Michel is the leader of their stunt team because he scored the highest in testing or comes in first over Alto all the time. Gamlin deserves a little more respect too. Due to all the animation recycling, he had an insane kill count lol.

Oh man duh I can't burn the higher res to dvd. LOL. Thanks for that info. I'll have to check into how to even burn the eps to dvd (never done it before lol) I'm still praying english subs pop up on the BD release (what can I say I have more money than sense but little of either, plus it's good to support the industry).

that stinks about gattai first and now gg. Who else is putting up the higher res subs like they were? I've been downloading the higher res to watch on my computer and plan on burning the shinsens to dvd. Unless there's a way to burn those higher res files to dvd?

Michel compared to Alto, at least in the beginning of the show I think was implicitly stated to be a higher graded pilot. IIRC in the deculture edition, when Luca was complaining about how simple the program was to be in the concert and Alto was pouting. Michel made a statement to Alto along the lines of "If you don't like it, then win the leader position" and then chided Alto for constantly finishing 2nd place. So at least in formal grading it's implicitly stated that Michel is tops in their class.

Bandai Visual will release Freedom and other anime titles on Blu-ray Disc simultaneously throughout the world this fall. The same packaged disc with subtitles in Japanese, English, French, and other languages Maybe this might provide some hope that MacF could get BluRay English subs?
