Eh, I won't be at all surprised if the RVF/CF-171 situation repeats come release time. I think people have eventually learned not to buy the scalper priced stuff, so hopefully we'll be hit by a wave of cancelled sales, and be able to get them cheap-ish at release.

I'm going to keep on HLJ and post here if they go up though, at least for a while. Don't have work in the morning, so I'm free to browse for a while still.

Not just that. This is a CF, and CFs just don't sell as well as the hero valks, so if Alto's VF-25F could be found way later (which quite a few of us did) after the 1st round of pre-orders closed, I think we have a very good chance later on, for those who have not gotten a preorder yet.

I kinda enjoyed the LEGO Batman movie, kinda fun, and I would probably like this if it has the same or better production values, but I would probably just rent the movie rather than paying full price to watch it in a theatre.

To be precise: Plastic, white or colored, will yellow (at various rates), just that on white plastic it is most obvious.

Having tried one of these maglev stands previously (similar to the silver chromed one, and promptly returned), I can only say that these stands are a b*tch to set (maybe its really just me).

Before you can even start to display the intended piece, you must 1st get the platform to float.... this already takes quite a bit of practice.

Then comes the intended display piece. you need to make sure the centre of gravity is right in the centre of the floating platform, else the display will come tumbling down.

...Not to mention the Enigma scheme.

The proportions look off. The fighter mode's nose is totally wrong.The movable panel at the ankles look wierd as well, though it allows for more dynamic poses.

Sad news for folks who have bought the hard-to-get-at-good-prices Bandai valks from them... we have just lost a source of affordable Bandai walks....but at least they said they will be honoring pre-orders made for releases up to end august at least.

So thats why they are not doing the VF-27 pre-orders.... .... I worry about getting the VF-25S when pre orders open from the other retailers

Glad you found it! I only had the giftset (1J + GBP) so couldn't say for certain if the standalone packs have it (even though logic tells me it should be).

You need to use the modified heat shield like the one in the middle of this picture:

Unfortunately I think it is only available because it is a "CF". I really don't think this will happen with the more popular ones like the ®VF-25 series.... though one can hope.

From the box will be even more easy. The V1s feature a window which allows you to view the contents. The V2s, however, do not show the contents, just a picture(s)of the armor on the 1J

I'd rather they go for some brand new stuff un-made, like the VF-5000! or Destroid Phalanx, enemy mecha... etc

I think looking out for the huge "clip" on its shoulders/ collarbone area would be better since someone might just sell a sticker-ed one. Also the the gerwalk joint at the upper thigh. The V1 is way more pronounced.

It is actually pretty obvious once you see it, almost like differentiating the V1 fromt he V2 VF-1s
