I have both hot toys tumbler (737mm L)and 89' Batmobile  (990mm L), so this one should be little shorter than 89' Batmobile.

Maybe it's height adds a lot to visual volume.

Hence the product title 'Robotech Macross VF-1J' - means they have license for both.

I chose the 1640 Yen shipping option (registered SAL I believe). What does HLJ charge for that? It'd have to be 460 Yen for HLJ to tie NY. The beauty of HLJ is the private warehouse. Since I'm ordering the Ingram it would have been nice to PW them and have them ship with whatever else comes out within a couple months.

My SAL shipping days are over.

Usually I get a monthly shipping - which ends up cheaper with EMS

In some rare cases (like this one) NY's price is somewhat lower than HLJ or AmiAmi, but always end up with ridiculous shipping charges - that's actually strange.

In many cases, I noticed I get the same size (almost similar weight also) EMS box from AmiAmi, HLJ and NY.. Their shipping charges are vastly different.

AmiAmi 's order open time is delayed by 2 hours - that's 2AM in California.

On the other hand, Bandai idiots can over-estimate the order quantity -which will end up in bargain bin - which will result in bad sales number and discontinuing the series.

I'm serious. They've done that many times.

I do have most of their Metal Action Series and Some Dynamic Action models.

As you can guess from the pictures, their products details are not so great. They are there, but as sharp as Bandai or Arcadia's. It's a lot like old Yamato toys detail.

They sure know what some of the fans want thou. Their line of items prove that. So I'm happy they are making this.

As for HLJ, they can go suck an egg. I just came off of heated conversation with them about their customer support... Big disappointment as a long time big customer...They are not like what they used to be.

Now they are officially at the bottom of my online shop list.

Major difference from HLJ is AmiAmi doesn't take order cancellation.

You can ask, and they might do it. They will put you on the black list.

Also Amiami price is lower in general, but their shipping is higher than HLJ.

So in the end, it's about same.

It says 'Miyazawa model convention limited ' ( and it also says ETA: 2016 spring - 32,000 yen). Hopefully they will general-release the Super Armed Pack later..

Im familiar with evo toys products. I have their other diecast line toys.

Their engineering level is somewhat close to that of very early Yamato Macross toys.

Remember the very first Macross plus toys? Its that level...
