    I guess i must be cured too. My last Yamato was the VF-1D like a year ago. Since then i've bought Bandai MG kits, TF binaltechs, etc. I've been dying to buy the 1/48 VF-1S but i just can't justify the price... :(

    My solution: maybe not eat for a few days , save the money for the 1/48 and get back in the game!!

    Really awesome!! I actually really like the gorilla head a lot. I saw it was a gorilla right away though i see that it could be seen as a mammoth. Keep it up! I'm looking forward to see the newer design!

    I'm a really big fan of Asimov's novels and short stories... and learning about this plan of a movie with Will Smith :angry: makes this day a VERY sad one :( . There's no way that W Smith could pass up as ANY character in Asimov's works.

    I think i rather play naive and HOPE that they make a decent job.

    I could be mistaken but i thought they were making a Foundation movie... not I, Robot. That would make sense since Foundation is a trilogy novel (actually 6 parts) and I, Robot is just a compilation of short stories...

    PS Just finished watching the trailer and 1.) the way they list the laws of robotics is a joke!! The 3 laws are much more complex than that!! 2.) I kind of like the way they made the robots... close to what i imagined it would be. 3.) This movie as an adaptation of Asimov's book is going to suck.

    On the other hand, Dead End looks SWEET.

    Wow DeadEnd looks awesome!! I wish i could just exchange my lambor for the new deadend, i don't want both. I think it will kind of weird to have an autobot and a deception who look like brothers... If i decide to buy the entire line will i end up having duplicates of the autobots in dark colors?? I think that sux!!! This is my first complain about the binaltech/alternator line. Now i might have to wait till ALL of them are released to see which color variation i want to buy :(

    shadowerv2  sorry you are exactly the point of this topic, and the topic wasn't about the toys it was about the a-holes in this forum telling others what and how it works . if expressing a observation of action is wrong well, I guess we should just not hold back and just let the crap fly in this place! I guess I need to work on my communication skills because some missed the point. again opinions are not the same as slams...

    people here are reaching out to others with the same intrests and wanting to discuss topics related to the products, not get crap for posting  topics that some might feel are a waste of time........does this make sense?

    Yeah, Arcee is looking awesome.  It'll be nice to finally have a proper Arcee TF.

    Ok i went through as many of the links as I could stomach... where's Arcee?

    Is anyone else pretty much convinced that Tracks is going to be yellow? It's alright I guess. Actually I'm still undecided on Tracks. He looks good from some angles, but from others he looks like a mess. People thought it looked bad for Sideswipe to have the hood hanging off his backside...well, Tracks has the whole front section of the car hanging off his. Too much kibble. This may be the first Bin/Alt where I get the Hasbro version.

    Yeah, i was thinking the same thing. I think i'll just buy the hasbro version of this one or maybe i won't buy it at all. The color bothers me and it looks too much like an energon or rid. I like the blockiness of the G1 TFs and this one has none of that. It just looks like a robot wearing a shell or a costume of a car.

    Is this bothering anyone else?

    The funny thing is he doesn't have it listed yet.  His numbered gallerys jump from 190 to 192, so out of curiosity I typed in "191" and found this.  Nice little surprise.  B))

    I must say, this has me even more excited for Hound.  I think he's my favorite of the bunch so far.  And check out that front and rear suspension!  Nice touch.  March can't come soon enough!

    The 1/60 has a lot of diecast and it's like $80, the 1/48 has almost no metal and it's like $140. It doesn't seem to me that the diecast has anything to do with price.

    Well, first, you might want to start shopping elsewhere for your Valks. ;) Second, you seem to be forgetting the fact that the 1/48 is considerably larger than the 1/60 and they have to pay for those molds somehow.

    I'm talking about original prices... i know they can be found cheaper. If the 1/48 is larger but with no diecast shouldn't those things "cancel each other out" a little?? I think yamato is making us pay for the detail ... not for materials used.

    I love diecast too! But i have nothing against all plastic if it's for a reasonable price.

    My thoughts are the same as they were before this fancy In-tro-net showed up: If you are a serious anime or japanese toy fan it would behoove you to buy a basic japanese-english dictionary and do some translating yourself to get a better understanding of the show/toy. After a while you would be suprised how much of another country's language you can learn. Don't put it all on the people making the thing you are interested in after all it's not like they are forcing it down your throat... we are technically going out of our way to get these foriegn toys imported to us.

    Complaining they are not EEN ENGRISH at this point is just plain greedy.

    I would agree with you if it wasn't for the fact that the website is in japanese!! Not another western language. We are talking about a language that you don't even know the alphabet for!! Meaning, looking stuff up in a dictionary is not an easy task. Translating their webpage into english wouldn't cost yamato much money, if any at all. You can even find small personal webpages that are written in many different languages.

    I vote yes, but i know yamato is not going to do at least till they can legally export to english speaking country.

    EDIT:Written Japanese is based on written chinese... i don't think there's such a thing as easier pictograms... at least not easier to read than chinese's. Kanji+hiragana+katakana make a sentence very tricky to understand unless you know what they are.
