    Damn!! I like that a lot! But I also couldn't stop thinking that it looks like a chicken in mid-transformation... Besides that it's a really cool design... So no one has a clue where it came from?

    Thats how its been since day 1. I don't know why, but that is just how they made the head. Don't feel bad that your missing something, it was never there to begin with.

    LOL LOL I feel like an idiot. I still remember the next day I opened my prime (more than a year ago now) I spent all afternoon looking for the "ear piece". Scanned my dorm room's floor while on my knees. Sigh... I was looking for something that never existed. What a waste of time!!! :blink:

    There is no missing ear plug. All the Primes have the open side of the head.

    you could be right... though, if by chance anyone is going to recast the other side... um please let us know. :)

    I don't get it. So Takara and Hasbro both have the primes with only ONE of his ear uncovered??

    I'm pretty sure that all the Hasbro/Takara Optimus Primes are like that, i.e., missing an "ear-plug."

    Really???? That's weird! And no one has mentioned this before? I hate the way optimus look, in my case, from his right side... I don't like seeing his inner ear... :unsure:

    I was thinking about "acquiring" an extra earplug somehow.. any ideas? Besides buying another MP-01 that is...

    OK. I actually have the Sunshine bear one, and I think he's called Funshine Bear. Cheer Bear, I believe, has a rainbow on his/her stomach.

    Curious, has anyone seen pictures of these scatch-built trailors of Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus? The gentleman who made these also does his own Transformer costuming.

    Interesting!!! I'm really looking forward to see this complete. I noticed that OP has his arms tucked in like in cab mode?? :huh:

    Possibly due to design problems (parts coming into contact with each other during transformation, or just plain budget), Grimlock has the least die cast metal of all the BTs - only the front bumper, doors and the rear bumper section of the car are metal. The paint holds onto plastic better than it does to die cast for some reason - probably why I prefer Alts - I like TFs I can play with.

    Btw, hcan you even tell it looks 'plasticky'? The body panels are fully painted. Perhaps you mean it feels plastic?

    DAMN! I wish i had known this before paying $50 for this guy. I would have gone for the ALT version for the first time... I still prefer the BTs because IMO they look better in car mode, they look like die cast models. I can definetely see the "metal look" on some of the BTs compared to the ALTs... specially smokey and meister ( i've seen their ALT versions in person).

    I don't see how the transformation would make TAKARA not use diecast... The roof and legs don't seem to rub against anything! It seems like it could be due to budget....

    I really hope TAKARA doesn't repeat this "die-cast fiasco" (for me, at least) in the future... I don't like paying 50 bucks for 3 pieces of metal and japanese instructions :(

    I just got my BT grimlock and I must say that even though is the coolest looking on robot mode, it was the hardest to transform!!!

    Can someone tell me which parts are supposed to be diecast??? Because everything looks very plasticky... in the previous BTs you can certainly feel the weight and see the metal. How is this compared to the ALT version?

    I am a huge fan of rpgs (from PC though) and the X MEN. I thought the idea of Legends was very neat... sadly i got bored of it after 2 days... The action is very repetitive and the only thing that made me keep on going forward was to see the different characters and powers... but all characters handle pretty much the same...

    I wouldn't really call this game an rpg as it's more like those old TMNT and BattleToads games.

    As for the cell shading I thougth it was pretty badly done <_< It looks very pixelated to me

    I wish i could try the multiplayer options... but i have no one to play it with :(

    Oh... i thought that this topic was really about NFS2... not underground.

    NFS series used to be my favorite games EVER... Sadly, IMO the last good NFS was Porsche unleashed... after that it all went downhill when they turned the game in just another arcade racing game... so sad. I'm still hoping that they'll release something like in the old days.

    That said... underground 2 looks very interesting.
