  1. Drunk? Did you click on the $5,000 pledge when you meant to click on $1, Keith? ^_^

    Pledge $5,000 or more

VICE ADMIRAL: An incredibly rare experience for anime fans! You'll be given the option to have your likeness made into a background character for the "Robotech Academy" pilot! This character will be animated and move for an indeterminate amount of time, and you'll be able to point to the screen and show your friends that it's you! (NOTE: You will be required to sign a full release form provided by Harmony Gold. HG reserves the right of refusal at its sole discretion). On top of this you'll also receive the Blu-Ray, DVD and digital copy of the "Robotech Academy" pilot, along with an electronic copy of the shooting script and electronic program guide with your name in it.

    My dream coming true...

Edit: Someone should buy it and put that Derpy pony who always appear in the background

  2. Hahahaha, really?

Also, Creavision, the company that "worked" on Robotech: Love Live Alive, will be animating it.

Creavision was the studio that made the FanFilm early this year... you know, the C&D letter fiasco.

  3. http://www.socialbrite.org/2012/08/06/storytelling-tips-from-the-experts-at-pixar/

Wanted to post this here. It's somebody's infographic recounting the Storytelling Tips "from Pixar" that have circulated from time to time these past few years. Pixar did not invent these, but they use them at Pixar. Emma Coates, who is a filmmaker herself, as well as a Pixar storyboarder is credited with disemminating these.

    Agree with this:

19.Coincidences to get characters into trouble are great; coincidences to get them out of it are cheating.

The last tip is the most important :D

22.What’s the essence of your story? Most economical telling of it? If you know that, you can build out from there.
