I took around 5-6 years off from collecting Yamatos (or anything, for that matter) due to "life", and I return to find that there are new Milia & Max valkyries to collect...not to mention Macross 7 stuff from Yamato. I feel like I've been off planet for some time. So, a question---What is the best route to use to acquire these nowadays? I used to always go the HLJ route in the past, but, with the currency exchange rate, I see how expensive these can be to import now. I have seen some on Ebay, but they are from Hong Kong, and I know all about bootleg goods that come out of HK. I humbly request some advice from my fellow MWers. I feel like a damn rookie all over again after this time away.

At one time, I told myself "I've got to get 1 of each Yamato Valk!", but with my SW collecting, as well as limited shelf space, I had to cut shorter than I wanted to. My meager collection: 1/60 VF-1A Hikaru 1/60 VF-1S 1/60 VF-1J Super Miria 1/72 YF-21FP See, I told you it was meager!

This was something our little RPG group always had to do, regardless of game. Each RPG we played seemed to have some sort of rule that needed to be tweaked to make the game play smoothly. The rules are just a guideline, not written in stone!

Wow, it has been years since I have seen the USS Flagg! Between my brother, my best friend, and myself, we owned nearly 3/4 of the G.I.*Joe figures & vehicles of our childhood era. My friend owned the USS Flagg. I was never much of a Joe guy, I had the HydroFoil, myself.

If only Manga Entertainment was remastering the video on the discs, then I could possibly justify buying them again. However, I don't see any indication that is the case, so I'll pass.

I'm planning on putting in an order. I had previously emailed Paul about having the Macross box by 'Sonryu' (Linked on his site) done, but that was many a moon ago, and I haven't really spent a whole lot of personal $$ since. I see myself putting in an order for the MECH version, even though getting the Mikimoto art version IS tempting.

It's good to see the forums back again. I hope to get my old post count back, as low as it actually was. B)
