OMG lightan!! Probably one of the first anime I saw on tape (asian rental in Holland)... I remembered a little bit of it. I was too young. Man that must be 100% genuine diecast.

I was very impressed by Jon's work hoping it to be finished and brought to us in the market. It's really a shame to see it discontinued. Jon's design is really far out!. It has more of a modern style. though I must admit that some parts did got the wrong porportion. As for the Toynami... I know it sounds strange but I always get the feeling it resembles a parrot... with long toes and a red ....... sorry what's that thing they used for pecking called?

I like the paintjob. But what are you actually planning to do with the paintscheme? Do you want it solid as it is now or do you want it to have some dirt/shadow on the edges?

and ofcourse the technique, in fightermode this should be very solid since the head is tightly against the bodypart and pushing the canopy with upward pressure:

Thnx... I think this will aproximately takes 20 hrs to build. It depends on how precise you work with cutting paper etc... I got a nice solution to the "nosecone" problem, but it's gonna cost our interior but even increases the accuracy:

I'm currently working in two modes... fighter and soldier, using the same parts and scale/fit them to get the right proportions. The most difficult one is the canopy... in soldiermode it sticks out too long... but in fightermode I can't make it shorter than it is. As for the rest there should be no problem at all. This time you can open the window on the canopy. Some parts are to be covered with transparent film.

Damn, suddenly out of nowhere I got a warning from Norton Antivirus that a worm has been detected in c:/my document and settings... which is pretty strange since I wasn't clicking on something for a few hours on my browser. It's called gaobot32. ... He can't remove it but I got this link from Norton for the fix http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/FxGaobot.exe

Actually this shirt is quite cool! And yes... sometimes we just don't know what those Japanese/Chinese characters mean.. But I suggest you ask for it before you tattoo it for life

After Starwars I think the Battlestar Galactica series is a great addition to the viewers at home. I wasn't born or maybe few years and too young to watch it, but I've recently watched the series on Dutch television. It's not bad at all, it's even better than startrekkies..

I'm busy sculpturing the body part in soldier mode. The size shouldn't be a problem in fightermode and the chestplate can retract inside so you get a flat bottom. Some parts need little scale corrections.
