u know, now that u mention it the canards on my 19 were wierd too, they wouldnt sit stright. once i switched over to the ones witht he gold trim though, the problem was corrected.

I know u all said the missles were tighter on Nora, but did anyone else find them stupidly tight? I was afraid i was going to snap them trying to get the things attached!

I filed the attachement jobbies down just a touch on a couple of mine. I was begining to crush the missles as I was pressing them in!

regarding the reative armor and why i think its NOT going to be made...

the GBP didn't do so well. the initial asking price was retarded(as much as a valk, come on yamato), then they tried milking the molds with terrible paint schemes and failed. you can find the urban and woodland versions for $60 or so nowadays and people still aren't buying them, even the blue GBP.

so you gotta wonder, would yamato bother making something that even more obscure than the original GBP? how are they going to capitalize on their investment when they know repaints have failed in the past?

don't get me wrong, it would be cool if they made it but considering how not so well the GBP did, i don't see a reactive armor in our near future. the only way i can see it happening is if their VF-0 design sells as well as the VF-1 design but thats not likely to happen.

I agree, I don't think you will be seeing armor for the VF-0's. It's too bad, I would be all over that!

which means they're not really limited..hehehe. i'm sure we'll see these very same valks in 5 years.

in any case, i'm still not buying these gawdy looking things. i'd rather spend my money on better repaints....or newer macross toys.

Taste is a funny thing. I think the low vis 1 is plain and boring (even though I have one), but I think these 25th are cool. They are very "Trophy-esq"(sp). I have the 19 sitting right here next to my desk and I think it looks cool in a "non real" kinda way.

There must not be a ton of these getting sold, or the eBay sellers were very, very optimistic. There are LOTS of eBay auctions for 25ths right now. I have never seen so many for just one mech. I'll bet if you couldn’t them up there would be more 25th up there than all the other mechs combined.

I changed lanes and got into a slower one! I felt like the opening scene of "office space" but now I have finally arrived at the destination of Nora and she is a beauty!

What a gorgeous design! The colors are perfect in my opinion and the way the gold is shining off my light is just right! Cant wait to pose her in my collection display!

Yeah, I can't see a 50% discount. Their volume would need to go WAY up to justify that. 20% on the other hand I could see them doing. Just the savings as far as packaging goes would probably take vare of half of that.

I'm excited about this line. I never transform my toys anuway, If I want one in batroid and fighter I get two and leave them that way. It would be nice to get some rock solid batroitds to add to the collection. I'm thinking all of them, LOL.

Yeah, that's where I think I short changed myself. I ordered a bunch of 6" stands and didn't have anything to swap with. I just got some 2.5" stands in, I will use some of those arms to make some crazy angles. I like the flexi stand a lot more than the launch arm, they are so much less intrusive. Thanks for the heads up guys

It looks as if you mix and match the arms the options increase too.

The subtitles did not make since because the only commercially available version of Macross Zero on DVD was translated from Japanese to Chinese and then from Chinese into English. The characters names even change and it is just absolutely confusing. The best way to see it if you care about the story and dialog is to watch the fan subs. The ANBU and AonE fansubs are fantastic and you can torrent them from animesuki usually. You will not regret it!

I agree 100% I have the Anbu version and it's a lot easier to understand than the commercially available versions which I have also watched.
