  1. Man, it seems that everyone sucks. This seller has a lot of good feedback and I have had 4 trouble free transactions myself. I guess you can chalk these guys up as the "bad guys" too. I won't buy from them again based on what you just explained. I don't want to take the chance of getting screwed out of $200+ on a valk.

Looks like I am going to go with HOHOToys or Lost And Found for the time being.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal, but thanks for the heads up!

Soory to burst your bubble sqidd but I had to say something, lucky for me it was a $30.00 item but I can see someone getting screwed with a valk sooner or later. I just posted in the MW blacklist, but I was thinking that he might not do you over because you spend so much money with him? I never beleive the Feedback it's a crap system as if you leave bad feedback you'll get bad feedback in return. If the sellers did what they are supposed to and leave it first after you pay then it would work but they wait for you to get the item and if you leave bad feedback they do the same. It sure is Evilbay. Sorry guys for going off topic.

  2. I'd like added Crazy Toys Patadise (crosszgundam) for selling used or returned goods, ordered a HCM Pro Gundam, it arrived but has been used or returned, missing parts, scratched and the box had three pieces of tape on one end, so it's been opened more than once. Emailed him quite a few times with no reply and even when I try to get incontact through "ask a question" on a cuurent item I still get ignored. I know someone else on here had a bad dealling just can't find what page it's on. Crap seller stay away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  3. Thats who I got mine from also. They go by another name too. "Crazy Toys Paradise"

Yeah great seller they just screwed me for a HCM Pro gundam, sent me a use figure with parts missing, the box has been resealed three times with the amount of tape on one end and wont answer any email at all, even if I ask a question through one of his current products. I was almost going to buy some macross items from them, lucky I said almost. They SUCK, IMHO.

  4. Well I voted yes, maybe a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have really cared but this week I recieved two items advertised as new and have been opened. First was a revoltech VF-1A, bags opened and retaped and the secound was a HCM Pro gundam, that came with an anckle guard missing and the box had three pieces of tape over one end so it's been opened more than once.

I hate buying other peoples warranty claims.

  5. No worries mate.......also if you are interested at all.......I have a Max 1A that is still sealed that I bought for $20 at an anime shop that recently retired....I would let him go to you for $35 Shipped USPS Priority Mail International. ^_^ PM me if interested.

    PM sent. :)

  6. The only Toynamis I have owned are the VF-1's that are fully transformable. They are okay I guess...I like them in fighter/gerwalk modes the best. They are a little fragile and the arms and legs can pop off and on pretty easily. All in all...I just wanted the Max and Millia ones to go with my little M&M collection.

The M&M versions are the ones I've been thinking of getting and Hikaru's 1J, they seem to look OK and I'd have them in fighter or battroid so I guess I should get them. Thanks misterryno. :)

  7. Ahhhhh see that is what I was going off of was the Toynami 1/100 VF-1's.

I guess the toynami are a little bigger for the transformation, it's also hard to scale when it's true to lineart as amine magic must be scales worst enemy.

By the way misterryno what's your opinion on the toynami's, you've owned/own quite a few different valk toy's, I just still can't make up my mind if I want to go down the toynami road. :)

  8. Looking at HLJ's site I don't see a scale for the Revoltech VF-1s. Are they 1/100 or something?

    Thanks in advance.

They would be close to 1/100 scale if not a little bigger. Thw wave models are classed as non scale but are close to 1/100 and the revoltech VF-1 are close to the wave VF-0's size which is a lot bigger fighter/battroid. My guess would be somewhere around 1/80-1/90 scale. You should be safe working on the idea of about 1/100. :)

  9. Dont let your hobby harm your health you can use foam oven cleaner it can smell a bit but you can flush the left overs down the drain. I do mine in a plastic measuring jug in the Garage. Just put the parts in and cover them with the foam cleaner and leave for a few hours and them wash off the results under the tap with a a bit of encouragement from a nail brush. Repeat until clean. Easy Peasy ;)

Now that's a good idea, I'll try that next time I screw a paint job. :)

  10. The F-14 will always be my fave but the Flanker is awesome that's my fave russian fighter, love the long neck smooth lines.

We seem to have turned this into my fave fighter thead :p but until new pictures emerge or pic's of a final production type, not alot seems to be happening. Come on Yamato bring out some more pic's.......please.

  11. As lots of us have said, it's because the design is so different (and yet somewhat familiar) that we have so much love for the bastard love-child YF-21.

Considering humans and Zent's have been living with each other for almost 30 years by the time the 21 comes out, wouldn't it make sense that the two groups would eventually merge their technologies together and create something that combines the best of their two mecha traditions and histories?

The 21's a Valk designed around a Q-Rau template (or a Q-Rau made out to be versatile Valk).

But if you guy's wanna keep hatin' on the YF-21, don't worry about it.

Unlike the other Valks out there, the 21's got TWO gunpods.

..........So, we can be much more efficient in "disposing" you malcontents two-at-a-time! :p

Very true, of course the two would combine their technologies after 30+ years. And who's hating the 21 no one said they hate it, but some of us prefer the look of other valk's better. I'll get a 21 and it will look great in my collection, but will my VF-1S look better, yes IMO. My No.1 valk will always be the VF-1S Strike anything else rates lower IMO.

Yamato has done a great job at creating a fully transformable scale replica and I'm very impressed at how good a job they've done, it's awesome for all you guys who rate it as their No.1 valk that you will finally get what you have waited so long for and I'm excited to get such a nice replica of a valk that's in one of my fave macross series. And calling it a bastard love -child does that mean the valk took one look at it and walked out the door. :p

  12. you... you don't like the q-rau???

No not really but that's just me, I've never been a fan of the enemy mecha, but that adds to the appeal of them being the bad guys. I have the Yamato Milia q-rau as I bet most people on here have but it's just not a design that I really like.

As for the 21 ability there is no doubt of the 21's greatness in taking on the x-9, it is a great valk the look of it is just not my fave design of all the valk's I'm more a 19 fan. But saying that I'm not a great fan of the 19's in M7 but I'm loving the look of the new VF-25 for macross F, but am a little unsure about the "bugs". It really is for me like rating an F-22 raptor against an F-14 tomcat, to me the F-14 will win hands down in it's appeal even though the raptor is a more supperior combat ability.

  13. I can't believe you guys. LOL. the yf-21 has a great fighter mode and the battroid mode pays an incredible homage to the q-rau as well as giving a wink to the vf-1.

Well thats why I guess I don't really like it, never liked the q-rau except for being blown apart. The 21 reminds me more of a turtle than anything else. And as for buying a toy I like well that's what I'm doing, I said I like the toy for what it is just not the overall design of the mech. Who can resist a flying turtle IMO.
