I won't be the first to say this nor the last, but grab the HMR destroids and enemy mechs. Just do it. I love the VF HMRs, but they all pale besides the destroids and enemies.
+1

Mine do close completely. I have this problem with the right foot from the DX VF-1J.

Bandai painting the landing gear now would be a tacit admission that they screwed up on all their previous releases.
In 2082, for the 100th anniversary of Macross, Bandai will release a fully auto transforming & flight-capable VF-1 with working ejection seats... and the landing gear will still be plain unpainted metal.
I'll be 106 years old by 2082.
Hmmmm, I won't.

Was the solution to force the foot to move and pray that it didn’t break?
Forced the right foot of my HMR VT-1. That was the solution.

The HMR line in my opinion has two different quality and design approaches. You can divide it in two groups. First, the VF-1 and the VF-0S in one group of releases (not the best fit and finish) and then the other group where the VF-4, Destroids, Glaug and Regult all feel like T-Rex/Arcadia products in 1/100 scale (with much better fit and finish).

I really like how this new one looks. And I'm also wondering why Bandai hasn't made this one in GFFMC form. Would be nice if they also do the White Unicorn unit down the line.
Yes, I've been wondering the same.

Same here. I really love the mecha designs from AoZ since it's started. And man, that's just 20 years ago. I'm all for it if they continue the variants in the MRD line. With all its bulkiness, I would love to have it in this scale so it's more manageable.
I really do want to have multiples, but I'm really in that point where I can only manage to order a set. Gone are the days of buying multiples for me. If the Hrududu II comes in 2 set unit like what they did with the first Hrududu, I think I'm good with 1 set. If not, then that's the only time I'll get 2. Wish they will go with Owsla next time with a Gigantic Arm Unit Option Set or a Titans color variant of Advanced Hazel bundled with Hrududu and Gaplant Booster. Now, that it's going to be awesome. I don't mind them doing some AoZ Re-Boot mechas as well.
+ 2 for a Titans Advanced Hazel

Aren't these "region restricted" PO's for items that are WWM?
I thought the Super VF-1S wasn't a release that would be eligible for sale outside Japan based on the BW-HG terms of engagement....
It's listed as restricted for Japan at AmiAmi.

Got one for a friend with his account, and then one for me with my account.
AmiAmi never fails me.

Maybe the alt modes make a difference, but to my eye the one on the right looks significantly better.
Was about to say the same.
Keep the one on the right.
