Being a huge fan of the YF-21, I never liked Yamato's 1/60 version, so I'm waiting patiently for Bandai to give it a shot. Their teased Hi Metal version looked already really good.

    Oh yes, I agree.

I don't mind Bandai copying this proportion as well. ;)

By the way, can I ask if the above picture is a resin kit. And if so, what make? And is there a member here who owns one and what they're feedback on it. Thanks. ^_^

Hmm , you re right , but Are they really going to start this line with Bat-Shu?

I hope not. And to be honest, as much as I like L-Gaim mechas, I'm hoping it's a different mecha/series.

This would lead me to think that they made molds off of existing Yamato/Arcadia releases rather than the "same factory" or "reject" theories.  Copies of existing factory molds possibly?

We can speculate all that we want regarding the molds that they were using. But at this age it's not a wonder anymore how KO companies can copy 98% of the original. ^_^

    Question. Anymoon's review says:

"Both the VF-19Advance and YF-19 come with very stiff hips that have led to people breaking them. I encourage you during your first transformation to unscrew the two screws on the hip and then remove the housing and loosen the two screws you’ll find underneath it. Doing this will make completing transformation easier and make it less likely you’l break your toy’s hip some day. "

Can someone demonstrate this with photos? I ordered a YF-19. It hasn't arrived yet, but I want to be ready when it arrives.

I changed the font color since I'm using the default theme so I didn't see your post until I highlight the lower section of your post and change the color to black.

Sildani posted some pages ago how he opened up his and he reposted it in the Macross Maintenance thread. Hope it helps.

  5. Can someone confirm this?

I think maybe the problem is with eBay being a-holes to you...

I think the better option would have been for you to have played ebay's game and submitted the case as a "sent wrong item" claim....not as some criminal investigation....

By requesting correct item be sent....the burden would then be back on the seller who would have to comply or the case would be made in your favor...you then get a refund....

But now it would seem Ebay will wash their hands of even the buyer protection since it is becoming a criminal case to be resolved by police/court......good luck getting your money from this guy in China!

Are you stuck pursuing this as a criminal matter? Can you retry to submit as an Items Not Received or an eBay Buyer Protection case?

This is what you want to avoid.....

    Per eBay....

    Is it a crime?

If you report your transaction to the police, they'll decide if it should be investigated as a crime or as a civil dispute. If the police feel that your case does not involve criminal intent by the other party, it is possible that they may advise you to take civil action to recover your losses through a civil action (small claims).

Hey JVM. To answer the question, no, I'm not pursuing this as a criminal matter. Never did I think of doing one. I only claimed that I received a wrong item from the seller which eBay gave them days to reply back which they didn't before they start doing this request from me so I can get my refund. I think the reason why they were asking me to file an Incident Report is that I was scammed along with the other buyer who also claimed he bought the same thing based on the feedback I saw on eBay which he also received a plastic box or something. And besides, when I check his feedback as of late, they were all negative and stating the seller's a scammer. I mean, if you're a legit seller then you really have to pay attention and track all things properly. He's 90%+/- something on his reputation. So I'm not sure why lately, they've been sending wrong items to buyers. I also think that one of the reason probably is that, if ever the seller got away with it, the Incident Report will be part of the documentation with the insurance claim on eBay's part because they now going to give me my full refund. It would be easy if the seller is local but since it's international, I think that's their safe cushion for not losing too much money on per transaction. And also, they want to prove that I'm not making any false claim on may part.

To be honest, this is the first time it happened to me. So I'm just taking this one step at a time. If the purchase was below 100, I might let it go. But it's 230 something. So it's hard to swallow. I will update you guys once I filed my incident report and submit it to eBay.

These samples looks nice. Looks like it's not too glossy anymore. ^_^

And I have to agree to most people comments on the folded backpack in Battroid mode. It sits too high. Also, I didn't know the Skull mark on the vertical stabilizer is as big as the heatshield's. I also wonder if they're keeping the light-up feature.

Hey no3Ljm, how’d your ebay case turn out?

eBay requested that I have to file an Incident Report to the Police before the Nov 11 for them to have it filed for documentation so I can get my full refund.

Once again, I'm showing my Macross ignorance here, so please go easy on me.  I absolutely love the original series, and Macross Plus, but that's where my knowledge (and interest) ends.

But as far as I know, Isamu was in the VF Advance in a video game for a few seconds, and a movie for a few seconds, right?

When/where did he ever fly the YF-29 in the media?  I've always wondered that.

Isamu showed up in the VF-19/Advance for a few seconds in the Macross Frontier movie only.

And Isamu flew the YF-29 as an upgrade in the PS3 game Macross: Voices Across the Galaxy.
