Am not Us citizen....I live in chile....where I have to pay taxes if custom hold my box.

More salt in the wound .

I can relate Pedro. Though when I was still back in the Philippines, besides the usual custom fees I have to pay post office people's deep pockets just to release a small box to me. ^_^

Which 19? If you're talking about the Advance, the differences are 'discreet' . Main one being the '2-part cockpit', the back feet-part,  'Un-Spacey' logos rather than the 'SMS'. Color on the leg canards are the right way around on the M+ version. Tampo prints are more or less the same, (with a few extras here and there on the Macross Plus version, most noticeable ones being the 'UN Spacey' on the side of the legs and wings, 'Sin Sei Industry' replacing the 'SMS' and the Macross logo rather than the Frontier one ). Then you have the missiles and additional accessories such as the arm cannon, and fold booster drive thingy that didn't come with the Advance. The overall colour scheme is slightly lighter compared to the Advance .As for the Arcadia, well, it's just different, looks a bit bland in terms of tampo prints, but it mostly comes with all the same missiles/armor as the Bandai.(no fold booster nor supa cool arm cannon thingy though). I'd say the DX Macross Plus is the more complete package especially if you like M+. If in doubt....sell a kidney and just get all 3....or 4 if you want the 1st 1/60 Yammy.....(I still like mine somehow...probably nostalgia, I don't know...).

Don't forget the subtle N.E.T.F.C. logo too. Hahaha!

Also the additional knee joints that the Advance doesn't have.

  3. I grew up watching this series but I can't bring myself on getting another series to collect. I've never had any Xabungle kits nor figure back then. But seeing that there will be a Gallier in the horizon, I'm contemplating if I should just get the two main mecha star of the series for the sake of nostalgia. ^_^ Though sad to say, Gallier's price is almost hitting the Y20000 mark for an HMR. So I'm still not sure yet.

Yes I know it is silly, but I kinda do like the look of the fold booster attached in battroid mode. Even cooler is that the figure has no problems holding it despite the weight.

Hey Archie. Can you confirm this? Mounting the Gunpod along the Arm Cannon in Battroid mode but make the 'gunpod hinge holder' folded lke how it mounts vertically in Fighter mode. Thanks!

I think you can. Check the screenshot that I took from the previous video posted. But yeah, you don't deploy the lower missiles. ;)

The higher the prices get, the more I'm afraid to transform my 31A which is still sitting in the display shelf in fighter mode... I thought back in June that the prices were going to drop (they had dipped to about 40k at one point I think)

This makes me wonder what the highest traded price is for a 31A so far?

I would be more afraid to transform it if I bought it at that price range. But if you bought it as MSRP, I'll be fine. Atleast I'd enjoyed transforming it before it gets broken. ^_^

Oh yeah, you can get it on release day, but given that DXs always sell out before the reviews show up, not sure how much that helps.

    1 hour ago, seti88 said:

the other "fun" way is to wait till all reviews are out and then looking to get one at MSRP! :pardon:

And I think that's the point Seti is making. If we can get it at MSRP.

One thing I can add in his list is that, wait till all reviews are out and bang your head afterwards if you didn't get it at MSRP. :fool:

hahaha where do i get it? ami/hlj? or is there a MW store?

actually my only cure for the itch is for wallet to be warped away to another dimension till release day!

Hahaha! Exclusively availble at Nippon-Yasan. 1 year delivery wait guaranteed.

Well, I suppose the Yamato YF-21 could use a little more tampo... it looks rather plain and toyetic next to the DX YF-19 (even with the most egregious markings removed).

True and I agree sir. But to some who's more into 'anime-accurate' ones, that YF-21 looks fine to them. ;)

The problem of pre order is that we buy without knowing the complete details, without any review.

By seeing some videos about this toy, I think we will get good expectations. At least many improvements compared to current 1/48 versions.

That's the fun of it. Think of it like an auction. You keep on bidding without touching and inspecting the item up-close. You're just basing it on what the descriptions says. Make your heart pound before the bidding ends. Makes you jump for joy if you secured it. And makes you want to throw everything around you when you don't get it.

And yes, this release will be good. I don't have a current Yamato 1/48, but if I do, I'm not going to compare with it since that one was done almost 2 decades ago. ;)

Yeah, I'm definitely holding out for Sentinel on this one. I like the look of the prototype, even if it isn't to everyone's taste.

Oh, I like it too. I rather pay the same amount as EvoToys for the Sentinel one since quality-wise, IMHO Sentinel is above EvoToys. I really don't like the plastic material they used on the VF-2SS which mostly people here says it's the same plastic they used for Legioss. So yeah, I'm excited to see new updates for Sentinel's Legioss. ^_^

Me too. Hopefully, Sentinel's version will be less expensive than Evo Toy's

Wishing the same thing. But I'm not putting my hopes up since I know how pricey Sentinel figures are. ;)

I'm all in with ET's Legioss, but have a lot of expenses these coming months. I think I won't preorder this one but I'll buy it later next year.

Hey Ignacio. Are you planning on getting the Sentinel's Legioss too down the line?

I liked it as well, my biggest gripe:

      Reveal hidden contents

The whole UAV operator story-line had zero impact on the rest of the series, unless I missed something.  IF I wanted to watch a movie/story about a UAV operator wrestling with the impact of his job I would watch Good Kill again.

    Spoiler

You're right. I forgot about that guy. If I forget about it, it means that there's no significance why they bothered adding him to the storyline. All the while I thought there will be a big impact on the story about him.

Actually, I wonder if you could deploy the arm cannon gunpod pin in battroid mode to hold the gunpod then. That would mean the lower missiles couldn't deploy but would still be very cool.

I think you can. Check the screenshot that I took from the previous video posted. But yeah, you don't deploy the lower missiles. ;)

  13. Finished it over this weekend. I love it. It's like I watched an 8 hour long movie. ^_^

Here's my only gripe. Beware that it might contain some spoiler. So click the tag at your own risk.

    Spoiler

They've spent too much time setting up the bad guy's character in every episode to understand where he's from, and why he became like that only to be eliminated fast in the last episode. But overall, it was great.
