Actually, I just remembered that my first Valk was a small plastic piece of crap that could transform. It was red and blue and I got it at the swapmeet. Wish I could remember who made it.

Back in the 80's, my friend had a mainly plastic, but good quality Voltron that was frickin' huge. Each lion was big enough to hold a 3 3/4" GI joe figure. I don't know which version of Voltron that was, or who made it...but that one was definitely my favorite.
That's the Voltron made by Panosh Place. I liked it as a kid, but as I grew older, I began disliking it.
Same here. I had it and after a while I outgrew it. Plus, it was an ugly sucker. I dont know what happened to it, but my guess is that it ended up in the trash with other of my unwanted toys.

That's an awesome wallpaper. Love the Valk.

None.
I'm not interested in the Monster or Destroids.

I got the Trendmasters re-issue back when it was first released in 97 or 98. (Well actually I got it for X-mas.) I think it is great and have no problems transforming it and it holds well.
For the money, it is a great toy.

Thats odd. My FX DYRL plays better in my PS2 than in my regular DVD player.

So a Max TV 1A is a possibility?
-
I have been rewatching the original Macross TV series recently. There are so many different scenes/moments that stand out in my mind.
If you had to choose the most memorable/striking scene from the TV series, what would it be for you?
I had a difficult time narrowing the choice down to one, but the most memorable scene for me would be the ending of the very last episode. The shot of the damaged SDF-1 in the background, with Hikaru's VF-1S in Gerwalk mode in front becoming a picture in photo album was such a great epic end to the whole series.
Same here. That ending scene is just so dramatic. Especially with "Yasashisa Sayonara" playing in the background.

I always love a good Max TV 1A custom job. Hopefully Yamato will release one in the future.

I got my first Valk 17 to 18 years ago. It was definitely a Takatoku, but that is about all I remember.
-
for all you know, the valk comes in battroid mode!
That wouldn't be a bad idea. But I know it wont happen.
I just hope there is something indicating which ones will be the re-issues. I definitely want to pick up the Roy 1S.

actually the colored one is Mikimoto himself, and the sketched one is my poor imitation =p
Poor imitation? You have to be f-ing kidding me!!! It looks great.
Cant wait to see all the Misa fanart.

Awesome. Though it will look better if the decals are applied on the Valks.
-
Awesome drawings.
I wish I could draw like that.

LOL!!! I never noticed that the blue thing's face changed expression. Very funny.
-
What?! Do you think you'll be able to see that in Robotech? Because I don't own the original Macross.
Yes it is shown in Robotech. It goes by quick though, as in Macross. So if you have the DVD just hit the slow motion button. It's actually pretty funny.

Yamato 1/60 and 1/48s are great. Bandai Chunkey Monkeys are great. Just buy one of each.

We should also have enemy Mecha next year too.

Thats why I am glad I didnt buy from the first run of the Roy 1S. I'll definitely try and pick up the 1S the second time around. I just hope there is something shown on the box to show which release is which.
