Damn if only the Monster was to scale with the other Destroids. Oh well they still look awesome!
I already have the tomahawk and your photo makes me want to get the defender.
-
I have the original and I like the BOP & DN colors better. I never liked the beige. small consolation that it will be less noticeable when it yellows.

1/60 SV-51
in Toys
is it just ivanov, how about nora and the mass production?
-
I actually like my 2 VF-25 for the price. Not as expensive as my yamatos. But, if you put them in the same shelf, you can tell the difference in detail and all.
-
I wish mine had been shipped already... I'd definitely have done a full review by now. Instead I'm working on consolidating old posts into mega reviews.
jenius- love your site. could you do a category that arranges them by score?

What are your top 5 Macross Toys(in order) that you own?
For me-
1- 1/48 VF-1a
2- 1/60 YF-21
3- 1/60 YF-19
4- 1/60 Q-Rau Milia
5- 1/60 RVF-25

after leaving my yf-21 on display for the longest time. I just transformed it to battroid and then fighter. Very harrowing experience. that really expresses the feeling when having a macross yamato toy than any other toy- pure adrenaline. haha.
-
I've got to go with the original bandai vf-1. i'm glad they have they have made it current/modern with the 100 scale.
-
YF-21 for me.
-
I guess no one can dispute that the mac f toys and hi metal vf-1 are big improvements over the chunky monkey.
-
I only display my 25 in fighter with the stand because the wheels suck.
-
for that price, they better have a pilot. I never understood why they didn't have pilots for the q-rau max or reissue q-rau.
-
they should match the bandai quarter and add little vf-1s
-
they did reissue it. I wonder why not in tv colors.
-
thanks.
-
This has probably been asked before but what is the scale of yamato macross Battle Suit Queadluun-Rau?
-
I find it odd that vf-27 had 4 engines.
-
that's true. we wouldn't complain so much if it was easier to return. but, since they specifically know what the problem is, they should send out extra shoulders to shops who have the vf-0 or vf-1 to bundle with the toys. that way, the stores get to sell the valks + customers are happy.
-
what was the stand used for the q-rau?
-
since the tv versions are later runs, are the shoulders on those ok?
-
was the knurled pin been replaced in the newer ones?
-
None of them are good cause once you have one, you will keep buying them!
that's a good one.
-
Which V2 1/60 VF-1 Yamatos are good? Is it safe to get it now or are the shoulders still an issue?
thanks
-
nice detail there.
why not produce more new toys?

it's easier to justify buying a new valk rather than another of the same with just a repaint.
