  1. R you guys playing the drinking game?
  2. Bro, you say you are not defending this shop yet you say “So I can't imagine sites like Nippon Yasan offering it for THAT much less than the shop I shared, especially once you factor in shipping and possible tax.” which is sort of defending them for their price point, so ....... Anyway whatever floats your boat and I do hope you get to offload Roy fokker at that price. Even if you are not the “seller”.
  3. Yeah, that pricing feels criminal out of the gate, maybe malaysian pay high premiums for their toys, but more power to those whom feel that at that price its a steal. I know I don’t.
  4. I suspect you are right sqidd, looking at the post count.
  5. Just saying what I feel bro, but more power to you if you are willing to pay that price, I definitely will not and have not paid that kind of price for any of my toys unless that was the msrp, and even then, I never buy anything that expensive. I guess I am cheap that way
  6. Hi, I am from Singapore and at that price it definitely is scalper price, but if some one is willing to pay, more power to them. The actual retail price is around 19000 yen, so you do the math.

Ah,now that make sense now, if the dougrams were really 1/100 then it will scale up properly with the destroids.
  8. No worries do take your time, I just love all your reviews and would like to read your thoughts on this new toy, to me this toy really is what I wanted as a child, as I bought the gakken 1/72 when I was 10 or so years old, not being able to afford the 1/35 version and just looking at it at toy stores (Singapore ) I was surprised that the gakkens where manufacture in my home country.
  9. Hey jenius, are you going to review this toy? But it states that those that preorder from this particular store will get a bonus, I hope the bonus is not something like the alternate gun. Else I can wait to pre order it from my usual stores
  10. As for NY, when traffic is high they issue some sort of que number system that makes everyone outside wait with an arbitary que number that you have no idea when is your turn and will go up and down on a whim. While the few smart ones that went into the site 5 mins before preorder can get to make their preorders citing no problem with the site. Not sure if that has changed but that was the last time I tried NY during preorder madness and was awhile back.

Interestingly, the rifleman (defender) is supposed to be a 60 ton mech while the griffin (soltick) is a 55 ton mech, but it looks bigger than the rifleman, same with the archer at 70 tons (spartan) vs the shadowhawk at 55 tons (dougram). Those medium mechs look much bigger than the heavy mechs. Just being a battletrch geek, haha.
  13. Oh ok, I got confused with the colours of the arrow on the head, as long as its correct then.
  14. I think the Inbit senses them via the type of energy in their power plant, so even if you had the quietest engine, they will still see you from miles away. Unless you were using one of those stealth versions that is
  15. Did anyone noticed that the arrows on the head on the toy prototype in Mr K’s office is black? Thought it was supposed to be yellow?
  16. There pre order stays open for quite a but as some people feel they are not reliable, and plus the fact that you have to pay in full 1st. Only bought e Yf-29 30th anniversary ver from them and that was because they had it in stock. That said a few guys have bought from them without problems.
  17. They normally open, much earlier than the stipulated order window on pre order day, around 3-4 hours earlier, so you should take note on that
  18. I never had issues with the frontier valks when i pre order, but back then not many scalpers used cdjapan compared to today. As i came in somewhere around the YF-29 variants, I managed to PO everyone of them, the only 3 I never POed is because they were already released when I started my journey and got then through second hand shops in japan when i went there for holidays, That said, maybe full capcha can help us beat the scalpers, just a thought, but full capcha might kill the servers too
  19. In the vein of with enough power, anything can fly haha, I used to be a RC pilot and have flown some seriuosly unareodynamic stuff before
  20. Just wondering, but if orderimg sites added a ‘i am not a robot’ test for hot items when they add into a cart, will that help with the scalper situation? Or will scalper bots still be able to defeat that?
  21. It is because there is a raised stubb on the side that is supposed to be hidden, without disassembly you cannot get that part to rotate where it needs to be. If you have that problem you will understand what I mean when you see it. Mine was assembled correctly but poped out when trying to transform it to diver mode. By the way, does anyone know what that stub in front of the gun magazine is for? I searched for it in the manual but could not find it, I might have missed it though as I was looking through it quite late last night
  22. I couldnt get the cover off to reveal the 2nd screw, whta i did was unscrew one screw and pry the thigh open a bit and try to get that stub under the 2 halves, once u get it in there it should be fine
  23. That looks like a nasty cut on your finger Turns out my right hip popped out when transforming it and scratched the inner thigh trying to put the rotation bad correctly
  24. The new stand can do 15degree banks instead of just 30 degrees either side, interesting.....still not going to PO this.
