That's a good question we'll have to wait and see on their entry. B))

I'm tired of waiting!  Whole generations of kids have grown and graduated school while I've been waiting for stuff and it sucks!

When you consider every single Legioss toy (excluding kits) ever made since the 1980's, just for once I would like to see a company, no matter who... just take the original 1980's Anime design and make that.

By that I mean, no more, revamped or re-imagined designs. Take the lessons from Sentinel and make the originals, they clearly proved it's possible in 1/48 scale to make very detail, high quality and solid fitting toy with accurate, impressive landing gear.

Gakken: Big, bulky, hefty and for its day, a true legend. (No leg or arm locking mechanism's.)

CM's: Oof-magoof!   (No leg or arm locking mechanism's plus other issues.)

Toynami: Looks pretty good but a QC nightmare all around, terrible landing gear. (Then & now)

Evolution Toy: The irony of the word "Evolution" in your company name. (Poor quality overall and the worst hands ever designed.)

Sentinel: Overall, very high quality, sturdy, rock solid, fighter mode looks amazing, however it is a re-imagined design, not OG. (Unpainted pilot figures are the only real negative IMO.)

BANDAI or ARCADIA: The ball is in your court, seriously, just imagine an ARCADIA or Bandai made Legioss.

What about Pose+ 's version?  Is that still coming out or has it turned into vapourware?

At a glance of the pictures of Miriya's VF-1J, I immediately thought the proportions of the figure to be the Bandai DX version. I feel that both the Max and Miriya versions from Threezero are the ones that stand out from the line up.

I know I'm late to the party, but daaaayum!  That's a pretty colour!

I wasn't trying to be greedy :). I'd more than happily pay for it. I just don't have the skills and resources that Cap and Ted do. No machine workshop, no 3D printer, no CAD skills, etc... I get super envious over here seeing people having those things and taking a stellar product to yet another level.

Just throwing it out there that I would love to have an opportunity to purchase those upgrades if they are ever done. And hopefully be able to purchase it individually without having to buy a reissue.

But it's all a good natured request. I know the hard work, on multiple levels, that goes into producing these. I also know the passion that Cap has for his work and his desire to give us the best product possible. If there is some reason that he can't offer it individually it is a good one and I completely accept it.

I guess you didn't see my little addendum at the bottom.  I was gonna ask, but you beat me to it :good:

    The Road Warrior meets Predator?

    Could be interesting.

It'd be nice if we got a true AVP with Colonial Marines tho...

Lately I've been thinking just a straight Predator: Colonial Marines would be nice.  Make it a younger Pred that doesn't have all the best toys yet and make it learn that its prey is a little more advanced than it thought they were.  The motion tracker to defeat the cloak would be a good match up.

In hindsight, using a mysterious alien biomass as a power source might not have been the brightest idea... 🤨

    That's adorable 😍

It's a good joke, but part of what I like about the Robotech version is that while we managed to reverse-engineer some of the technology to make mecha work, there are still some downsides and things we just don't know.  It tickles my fancy.

...but it seems to lean as heavy on Aliens as Romulus did on Alien.

Agreed.  It looks like it's little more than capitalizing on audience love for the beloved original property.  There needs to be a compelling reason for the characters to get back together like that, and it seems like the Alien franchise is all out of compelling reasons.

    ps: I liked Romulus!

Pretty much.  It’s clear where the Legioss is going to connect to the Tread (for the connecting boom at least).  But wonder where the stand connection will be:  on the Tread’s connecting boom or on the back of the Tread itself?

Also, for “gits and shiggles,” I snapped a pic of the Toynami combo from a similar angle as the one done for Sentinel’s rendition:

Had to wipe off the dust her to make her look a little more presentable. 😅

Happy sigh.  That's still a mighty pretty sight.

    Not roughly, no...

    Precisely in scale. :good:

As far as I've been able to calculate, it's exactly 1:48th (to scale with all the Moscato Bioroids, Invid, Sentinel Mospeada and DX Chogokin VF-1s). 😊

    Ooooh, SOMEONE planned ahead :good:

You simply MUST do a group shot with all these mecha in scale with each other!

Yeah, I think the Logan's an adorable little piece of fictional machinery too.

It fits perfectly in my preferred fictional version of the Southern Cross era.  Not too flashy, just good at the job it was designed to do.  Pity the Masters had to come by and muck it all up!

  11. Don't have Netflix, haven't seen the show.  But that above first 6 minutes clip didn't sell me on it.  That whole action sequence was just too contrived for my liking.  One thing I always appreciated about the first Terminator movie was how un-cool the action pieces were.  No unnecessary flips or jumps or anything like that.  That whole bridge sequence in the above clip just didn't turn my crank.
