  1. VF-27 Harmonica Named for the a&*hole who decided that playing a harmonica was fitting after seeing his ship ravaged by the Vajra. lol.
  2. Agreed. So long as we also get the first Night Creeper leader costume(not sure if it was ever made...the Battle Corps one was...weird...), and no Ninja Force Night Creeper(more like alien ninja viper!). Storm Shadow's Ninja Force costume was the best. I wonder if the upcoming "Storm Shadow with gear" is him. It makes sense...he had grenades, shurikens, and whatnot on him.
  3. Whoa...looks like transformation from gerwalk to battroid mode is extremely quick! Good thing in my book.
  4. One of our admins named Super Megatron is on there, and he is in Canada. We do have some members in Canada, but I don't know too much about them.
  5. True. I think that line is going to be huge. For Gundam, HCMpro is close to, if not already has, eclipsed the MSIA line....released for HCMpro are constant. Not to mention other licenses such as EVA are already under the HCMpro line, so I would not be surprised if 1/100 Macross F is another HCMpro line...not to mention Macross was on a poll conducted in japan, for what other licenses fans wanted in that line.
  6. I think it will be like how HCMpro figures compare with their High Grade model counterparts.
  7. I have a sneaky suspicion that Macross 7 toys will be made into the DX line, 1/60, all new. With an anime on tv now, a new line of toys coming out, and a license that they possibly still have...in their minds...maybe they mineswell? I'm itching to see an armored Ozma type VF-25S...especially after watching episode 7.
  8. The licenses are easy enough to get, its just the issues with the economy and costs rising in various areas such as shipping and whatnot. Doubt it, its theorized that they might be figures from the new cartoon.
  9. The fighter mode is awesome on the 21, and the battroid mode is, because its like a Qrau only variable, and the qrau is my favorite enemy mecha in macross.
  10. Maybe because the prototype shown might not even be CAD refined yet? That picture is the only thing we have to speculate off of. Not to mention Kawamori is working in coordination with Bandai on the toy. He won't let something come out unless its approved by him(since this is the high end part of the line). When has Yamato recently shown something without the clear parts, and materials already shown just unpainted?
  11. Hell yea! Sadly...even the 1/18 companies aren't even coming out with much product at all this year. For Ace, we just need a v3 remake(which was a repaint of v2, but v3 had the more realistic colors...not to mention...that was the best RAH pilot sculpt ever). Which store did Jason run? He sounds familiar. Not to add fuel to the fire, but at the 'tank, it sounded like he is keeping them all.
  12. Not very impressed by the Takara Ultra Classics repaints. For me, grey>white on aircraft, and Powerglide's paint apps appeal to most tf fans, but there isn't enough contrast for me, so in this case I actually like Hasbro's version better. Onslaught looks better but not enough for me to fork over more money for the Takara version.
  13. Again, most Yamato prototypes shown in recent years are only of toys ready to go, with all the materials already decided on, and the molds already tooled. The DX VF-25 doesn't even look like it has a finished sculpt. Bandai usually shows products in various stages of production, whereas Yamato usually shows the CAD drawing with a testshot made from the already tooled molds. Ginrai is right too, Bandai has been making collectors toys for years, and their SOC line is amazing. I expect nothing less for a new Macross line. This isn't 1994 where they can make kiddified DX valkyries and get away with it.
  14. For Ripper he is already listed in the walmart list, which we got confirmation from a day after frontpaging. Since there is already a Python Patrol Crimson Guard on that list, we might see Copperhead as a Python Patrol figure single carded. Not sure if we will see Copperhead on single cards anytime soon. We'll find out next month at joecon. Personally, I hope it is not a year delay.
  15. The internal frame is very impressive. I might bite if Yamato makes a DYRL Hikaru type VF-1A Super Valkyrie. I love that design for some reason.
  16. There is some news tidbits in a post DESTRO made to answer commonly asked questions: The Viper is the frequent "leftover" for wave 7. Originally I thought it would be scalped to hell since its both new and an army builder, but I was wrong. Wild Bill, HISS driver and Spirit are harder to find.
  17. Its quite expensive though! The Wing HCMpros look good...especially Tallgeese.
  18. HELL YEA! Plus...had no idea that this and the SV-51 were that big in this scale. It looks huge in that gallery pic where that guy is holding in his hand!
  19. I doubt it, I think they are keeping it a surprise for now since it can encompass many more toys/mecha than the DX line. They are probably saving it for a bigger event unveiling. They make the HCMpro line like rabbits make offspring...so maybe it will be like that. They aren't. I don't see why it wouldn't.
  20. Everyone wants Macross 7 paint jobs, I think a low viz grey 2 tone scheme would be perfect for the YF-21.
  21. Actually I think they can, licenses exist per scale, per series. Since the Koenig is in Macross F, it might get a shot, not to mention Bandai is making a 1/100 toyline for Macross F. A closeup of the resin VF-25 in the pages was scanned, but thanks for the 3 pages! There are some things there that we haven't seen. I have a feeling by the time Bandai is done sculpting the DX, it will look more like the 1/72 kit pictured in the first scan, just bigger.
  22. Anyone who has tried both Shinsen and Lunar, how do their subs for Macross F compare?
  23. I am patiently waiting for Shinsen's subs, I've seen previous releases from them and I like their work.
  24. G&d Damn! I didn't even see that picture at first! I wonder if he is going to help fellow members out, like most of the other tankers do. In that thread he said he challenged the manager, not all stores have the signs up. Damn that is a LOT of Vipers in one fell swoop. I haven't even seen that many when pegs were full of waves..of any figure, not even Snake Eyes. Not sure if the paint jobs matter to you, but the SHARC and HISS are coming back out in their original colors, this time mass market(at least I think for the SHARC since all vehicles thus far planned for mass market release have their vintage/original colors, and the SHARC was listed for preorder at toywiz not too long ago, along with the Firebat which we are still awaiting confirmation on). They are set for release in july(SHARC might be after), msrp is $14.99. Deep Six comes with the SHARC and is more articulated than the original, but still brickish from what I have heard. I'm all for female Strato Vipers, but I don't want one or the other, if any Strato Viper comes out, or Night Raven, we need both! Speaking of which, I hope we see the movie Night Raven soon.
  25. Not without a Night Raven!
