  1. It should cost way more, unless you want to hire someone work below minimum wage.
  2. The Mighty Block stand are too short and loose, but there are problems with the launch arm. The launch arm is too tall with no way to shorten it, and the hinges are too low, making it impossible to do any more dynamic angle without tipping over. The best stands are the one that came with YF-21 (1st release) and Sv51, you can do fighter mode vertical climb pose with it but it don't fit other Yamato VFs.
  3. No it the 1/3000 toy in it's unpainted, unassembled form. If you can't paint, get the toy instead.
  4. Compare to past large size item from Yamato VF-19 Kai is not too crazy. VF-19 Kai : 22000 YF-21 with stand : 21800 YF-19 with fold booster : 22800 Sv-51 with stand : 21800 But of course the old ones had more accessories.
  5. Hobby Search store have all the scans. 1:48 Fighter: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10127265z/70/1 1:72 Fighter: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10042285z/70/1 1:72 Battroid: http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10031212z/70/1
  6. Why? It looks fine. It came from here - the owner has no complain, other than having camera problem. http://www.toysdaily.com/discuz/thread-154808-1-1.html New review from Japan: F mode: http://blog.kuruten.jp/bat/162716 G mode: http://blog.kuruten.jp/bat/162964 B mode: http://blog.kuruten.jp/bat/162975
  7. Oh the gun pod transform! Yamato's own site made it looks like two gun pods.
  8. Heh Basara has to hold his breath when transforming in space.
  9. Yeap I would like to hear the reason. BTW there is nothing fishy about posting the photo. This Hobbystock blog got permission from Yamato to post all the "no photo" photos, and they are a major store in Japan, not some random guy: http://blog.hobbystock.jp/report/2011/05/tp0649.html
  10. That may the hardest thing to achieve on the VF-17 - the lower leg will need to store a folding gunpod on one side and landing gear on the other, but thin enough to keep the fighter mode from getting too thick. If they can, I would still expect it include a second, bigger "anime-proportion" gunpod, like the VF-19 Kai will include two guns.
  11. Best image of the display: Don't know why HLJ haven't list this one yet after selling most other Yamato exclusive, even the 1:2000. If you want it from HLJ - cheaper than any other proxy - then try email them.
  12. Actual higher-res source images here, if you want to read the text: http://blog.hobbystock.jp/report/2011/05/tp0649.html

  16. They have been putting everything for sale since the US mortgage mess. As for Fukushima, just don't eat the outer shipping box and you will be fine. I also happen to receive my order from previous sale today. It may be my first SAL order from Japan that get taxed by Canadian custom - I guess any package from Japan get more attention these day. The VF-1A CF from this order has a clear canopy and improved crotch-lock.
  17. How? HLJ should lost a bit of money via EMS since they charge us 80% of actually EMS cost charged by post office, so they pay that 20%, v.s. we paying 100% of SAL postal cost.
  18. Good price for the regular version VB-6 Konig Monster
  19. More sticker editions, 1500 yen each.
  20. - 可動指 should mean movable finger. - Dagger can be stored in the shield. - Twin seat. - Knee joint can bend forward to 90 deg. - Landing gears that is not a joke. They may just got it right this time.
  21. Well even Yamato went through 3 generation of VF-1 to get us 1:60 VF-1 v2. 1:48 was good but missed two seats and had chicken fingers. Even the hi-metal VF-1 can be counted as 3rd gen from Bandai after 1:55 and HCM, plus ideas from Yamato.
  22. Found a high-res of the line art at locushk.com.
  23. There has been some confusion, but now we can expect a construction kit with parts for entire SDF-1, 2 bonus resin parts, etching parts and decals for 16,590 yen (inc Tax). http://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/iam-cybergundam/article?mid=72584 Also most of the shops are taking pre-order for the July reissue of the toy.
