  1. From big bad toystore "RE-ISSUE #18 SOUNDBLASTER: We've learned that Soundblaster will come with not one, but two cassettes! Ravage and Buzzsaw will be included with Soundblaster so you'll get 3 very desirable transformers in just one box! We also have the repainted 'Cobalt Sentry' cassettes available for pre-order. #18 Soundblaster should arrive in about 4 weeks!"
  2. the sad part is that it will be sold out on its first shipment What's sad about it? Sony's made a handheld unit that people are going to want to play, and they're marketing it to people who can afford the price tag. The sad part is for 250 bucks I want a highly quality device. not one with QC issues like the japanese version (square button/dead pixels/air bubbles, drive popping out, region encoded, low batterly life (so they can make tons off consumer on the batteries as well), etc... remember Ken said this is "as designed" As I've said before, I've played a PSP, and had no issues with the square button. As for the air bubbles and dead pixels, a lot of people seem to be conveniently forgetting that the DS had the same issues, and in both cases, they were the extreme minority. The battery life is plenty long enough to play games on before it needs charged again, and as for the drive popping out, what the hell are you doing twisting it like that for in the first place? Yes, I played the PSP too and I like the screen, but I'm picky when I spend that kind of cash. It’s one of those minor things that will bother me once I noticed it. Nintendo had that issue, but they take returns not like Sony which says to its customers "SOL". You’re lucky with the square button, we have a couple here at work and one of them has that issue. The battery is a big issue with me as I do travel and that leads me to the regional lock issue. I would like to pick up games in certain countries if I’m there for work. Sony said that the movies will be region lock, but the games will not, but if the companies want to lock it, they can. I would not be surprise if the games are region lock when it release here in the states. The good thing about the PSP is that I'm impressed with the amount of launch titles, but many of them I'm not interested. I want Nintendo to have competition, so we can get better products. But the PSP is something else, like you said this is aimed with people who can afford it. I feel the PSP is like a Neo Geo back in the SNES and Genesis days. It has its own audience, one that can burn money. Right now, all the retailers are doing bundles only which range from 399 to 599. That’s a lot of money for me and to throw it onto a system that has many flaws that should be fixed at that price tag. I’m not saying the PSP suck or anything, I just want to Sony to fix those issues or if they don’t fix it, drop their price so they can compete with the DS and we the consumers will win

  4. you are right, it's one of the wired headphone remote. I don't see the price dropping anytime soon as Sony is losing close to 200 bucks on each system. I'm playing with one at work and the screen is gorgeous!, but not for $250. And the movies aren't choppy on those media players. I have a Pocket PC and I'm running anime AVI with no recompression and it's smooth!
  5. the sad part is that it will be sold out on its first shipment
  6. You guys should try the new Wario game (it called "twisted" in the states) and it already uses this tech. then you'll see it's not meant for phones, but for games The new Yoshi game has this too.
  7. according to Natioal Console Support, the game has the "episodes" "The Gunbuster franchise enjoys a third story which is presented in interactive video game form on the PS2. Join Noriko Takaya, Kazumi Amano, Coach Ota, and the rest of the original cast in a completely new 25-episode action/adventure game where scenarios are split into world roaming interaction followed by full-blown Gunbuster action. In the world roaming portion, players interact with other characters, exercise, and work a few menial tasks. In the Gunbuster sequences, players pilot the mighty Gunbuster and bust up gangs of alien foes with weapons/moves such as the Buster Beam which pulverizes entire squadrons with a powerful laser cannon and the Super Lightning Kick. Similar to the original animation, Noriko bellows out commands which trigger the big robot's attacks. "
  8. Thanks AlphaHX for the awesome clean up job And I agree with Mr. March
  9. Heh, yeah like the calendar would fit on a normal desk top scanner. It's a pretty big calendar you know . Graham How big is it, Graham? I know it's big, that's why I was hoping someone might have the other images from some other source or maybe they got a big @$$ scanner Duke Togo: The Calendar is a little over 20.5 in by 28.75 in
  10. Awesome! thanks AlphaHX! that's what I'm talking about.
  11. Don't be. I like both them and the game. Frank: "Yo-you're craaazy, man...I-I like you, but youuu're crazy! But man, I want that calendar! Does I work out to where the dates are actuate this year? hehehe, you're late by 2 years, I think it would have worked in 2003 or if you can wait til 2014
  12. here's ps2 one (I saw someone posted the other side of it and not the valk side)
  13. I was wondering if anyone here have a "clean" Hi-rize scan of these (not photo). I only saw the low res ones on the calendar section. if you do, please post it. Thanks
  14. Also notice that they have to cut into the LCD housing just so they have access to the square button. But this is "as designed"
  15. Just so that people can see what Ken calls "as designed". Look at the bottom image of the PSP, you can see how the square button is way off alignment.
  16. wait a sec.. I thought he said there wasn't any flaw so why would the US version be "fixed"?
  17. You could just sell those on ebayor the for sale section here and get money to buy a whole gunbuster box. it's only 60 bucks plush shipping. What you go there is more than enough to buy plenty of them
