Hi Everyone,

I am a newb, so pls be patient. I saw some links for the Max Dyrl being re-released, and the vf-0a, on the Hobby Stock web site.

Now, i am in North America, and dont understand a word of Japaneese. I am looking for an online shop that gives good prices, special for pre-orders (meaning pll who pre-order usualy get better price then those who dont). This Hobby Stock website keeps comming back. Do they sell to outsiders, such as myself, and if so, to whom can i talk to.

Also, i saw on the Hobby Stock a system of points, and i am guessing that the more points you collect, you can reclaim those for futur purchases. The reason i am saying this, is i want to find one place where i would buy all my macross stuff, now and in the futur, and i definetly want to be rewarded for doing business with them, and the point system is the right way to go.

My normal supplier is Valken Exs, but i dont know if he still sells macross stuff, as i dont see him online anymore, for a very long time (I hope nothing bad happened to him, he was the best). Would need suggestion on a supplier that gives reward for comming back to them, and that gives good prices, and good service. Any suggestions. Also, about Hobby Stock, you guys would know the email of someone there that would speack english (by speack i mean through emails).

Newb question.

I wanted to purchase the Optimus Prime toy, but i see on ebay different stuff, and i dont know if they are the same or/and what would be the difference.

There is the Optimus Prime Master Piece

There is the 20th aniversary Japaneese version

are there different versions of this, or are they all the same. Its just i dont want ot make a mistake and have to buy another one. I am not interested in the convoy, just the optimus prime himself.

I guess I can join the growing group of broken part BP8's owners.  A visitor elbowed over my VF-1S Fokker in Gerwalk mode and broke the left hinge point right off.  Who do I need to contact to arrange for a replacement??

Now, you made me realise something really fantastic. Neova (valkens or anthony)is the guy i would normally buy my valks from and the person i trust the most for buying macross stuff, and i was waiting for him to get back from his trip to buy some more. So i can get all my items in one batch perhaps.

Hi everyone.

I got a vf-1s 1/48th, and i accidentaly broke one of the hinges for the backpack (one of the sides holding the backpack to the plane). Now i tried an instant Krazy glue which i bought for about 2$, and it doesnt seem to do the job.

Thus i am asking for help. Which brand/type cement/glue do you use to fix such a problem, and where can one get it. Remember this is not a plastic model, thus a normal plastic model glue wont do. I find it rather hard holding the 2 pieces with pressure on long enough, and this might be the reason the glue didnt hold (i hold the 2 parts togheter for about a minute as the instruction says, then let it dry in position, however, the bond is not strong enough).

Maybe you have another suggestion not involving buying a new valkirie, and thus, it would be welcome.

Hi guys, i would appreciate any help.

I am basically looking for a glue/cement to fix my vf-1s. The backpack broke cause i wasnt carefull enough. Its the spot holding the backpack to the valkirie. I tried using Instant Krasy glue without too much success. Any tips on which brand, what to get, where to get it from, etc..

Quick question, did you paint the stealth's heat shield in black, as mine is gray.

General Question about the vf-0s

I got mine 2 days ago.  I was worried about the color.  Its not white like the vf-1s 1/48, its a bit beige, sort of like the original white that has been worned out  (more plastic like color).  Is this normal.  From the pictures i see from pll, i can t tell.  Can pll update me on the coloring scheme.

Also, all the joints seem looser than 1/48, and the hand doesnt retract same way as a 1/48, and there is no big hands.  And no tilting downward of the head (it does tilt upward though).  The opening of the leg to get the weels out isnt as rigid as a 1/48, or as precise.  Head seems a bit too big, not used to it.

The tampoing is great, and so is the magnets, wow, they really stick fast and well.  The gun has NO belt.

So, all in all, is this normal, or did mine turn up wrong, cause from pictures, i thoughed it would be white like the vf-1s, and its beige.  I was afraid maybe its that chineese version i got somehow, the one there is rumours about.  Can you guys update me. 

All in all, i think maybe plane mode and gerwalk suits this valkirie more because of the apparent flaws i found on mine, and i dont know if its normal or not.

The color is supposed to be like that. Chill. Most ppl like it that way.

The looseness seems to be a common problem. So yeah. Graham said they are gonna fix this in the re-release. Yes it doesn't retract the same way and so generally, yours is fine for this run.

My suggestion to you for EBAY:

Always ask a question from the seller (doesnt matter what the question is, just ask shipping rate, ask for discount, ask if they send as gift, whatever you like). Check if they respond. TISINC never ever responded to any of my emails. Thus, i would be taking a considerable risk with them. If they dont respond before i buy something from them, imagine what will happen after i buy from them or have a problem. All emails have to be answered POLITELY by the seller, otherwise, DONT buy, even if its the best price.

Check reviews. Yes, item is comming to an end, price looks good, and this tisinc looks like he is the only one that has the item. But if you look at his comment, the negative ones, the same thing is repeated many times, seller is not correcting himself, and is not even responding to customers. Hint: Bye from sellers that resolve ALL problems. Yes, its hard to have 0 negative feedback when selling alot, but what some sellers do, is always fix the problem, and thus you see a withdrawal of the decision, or an action by the seller.

If you disregard these tips, you know you are taking a chance, and thus should hold yourself responsible for it, and not complain when you have a problem, like the one from tisinc, which i personaly will not deal with, cause it was obvious from their non response of emails what horrible service they have. Service is now crutial, and you know you have the knowledge to determine who has it, and who doesnt. Price without service = you deserve pain. A little higher price + service = happiness. Hope this helps

Guys, you should NOT use the flash function. Instead, put a nice lighting/lamp to clear the toy, and take pictures without the flash which is just ruining all these pics. You dont need an amazing camera to take pictures, just proper lighting.

I think the version with strickes might be different without, as i see the color of the missiles being white on the box for non-strike, and gray with strickes, can someone please confirm this. And can someone confirm the color of the window in robot mode with no strike.

can anyone get pictures of the model without the strickes, i believe it is a bit diffirent color, i know the missiles are for sure different if one looks from the the box, but i need to know for the window color in robot mode, i want it to be black like originaly planned.

As you can see on the picture of the box, the window in robot mode seems black, and not grayesh, is it possible without the strick parts, there is a difference in them. I think there is suppose to be a 2 boxes, one for the valk, one for the super, but is it possible there is a difference, cause on this box cover it really looks black.

Hi, i saw these pictures, but i wonder if anyone could put some pictures of this model without the strick parts. I am interested mostly in the robot form to see what it looks like, and the plane mode a bit. I was kinda heart broken to see the window in robot mode was not black (and i would have put the skull on it) and is gray instead, but i really want to see it in robot mode without the stricks. If someone could put enough lighting without using the flash of the camera, it would be super. Thanks in advance guys. I am deciding between this and the zero, and seing the new pics and modifications done, i am less pleased with this one than originaly.
