What you guys need to do is make a hi-res desktop of that with the SDF-1 in full view, and globs of fighters... That would be awesome. So long as it's dark and such like the original. I'd SO use that as my desktop.

Wow! New boards! Cool. Thos are some nice models. I'd especially love to see the VF-2 in a game somewhere. =p Anyway, I'm a total newbie when it comes to 3D modelling, been wanting to get into it for a long time. Mostly what I'm looking for is a proggie that'd be best for modelling mostly characters. Then I'd need a tuturial for a total newbie. I have Gmax, haven't been able to figure it out. All the tuts I can find are for intermediate level modelers or something...
