Btw are you a he or she?
Cheers
Good question...BTW have we ever figured out how many girls ARE here on MW?

MASTER WM! As always you make models that seem true to life...so realistic it's scary! Seriously Amazing Job.
I don't know if this has been gbrought up before, but have you considered writing a modeling manual? You have done enough Step-By-Steps to surely fill a book. And I am sure that alot of people would wish to purchase it. Maybe even submit it to a publisher, and to avoid HG you could submit it here in Japan and have it published. I would do my besty to help you out.
So what do you think?

i listened to ok computer, i really liked it
listen to the bends. its their best CD.
Yup, The Bends is their best album. Less experiment and more substance.
I listen to a select few of a wide range. I'm too lazy to change my CD changer, currently it has
CD1: Sinatra, Martin, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennet, etc
CD2: REM
CD3: Weezer
CD4: Joy Division
CD5: Trashcan Sinatras
SD6: Lynyrd Skynyrd, Elton John, CCR, Eagles, Clapton, etc
CD7: Echo and the Bunnymen, Jesus and Marychain, Mazzy Star, etc
CD8: Ash
CD9: Beck
CD10: Yo La Tengo/Dump
CD11: Gomez
CD12: Stone Roses
The compilations are burned CDs...
My tastes are varied with the only pre-requisite being able to identify with the artists vision. I'm kind of dark myself so favs, as in I listen to them 75% of the time are...
NIN +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Linkin park
I am to lazy to change my cd player as well. Heck... I'm to lazy to move stuff around so I can hook up my third hundred disc changer
For obvious reasons I won't do a list like exo .
rather than struggle to remember what all I listen to... here is a list of my computers directory of music albums I ripped personally from my cd collection as I like supporting the artists and don't download. I also like to make mixed cds and tapes for work and it's soooo much easier if everything is in one easily accessed place. Keep in mind this is only the directory of artists as if I included albums I would get yelled at for excessive posting... I have over 20 NIN albums . A few compilations/soundtracks are hiding in here as well as occasionally stuff goes in the wrong folder. The only reason you get this is I still remember "dir > list.txt"

I'm pretty sure my partner went to this....didn't tell me though because I would have told him to take a ton of pics of the Macross stuff. Anyway If he took alot of pics.. and i know he got good ones of the GPB Armor I will post them.
Rob

I would use watered-down thinner, or weak thinner. Also don't let it set on the Valk too long or you may melt the plastic. Wash it off after the paint is removed and wipe it down thouroghly.

That was hilarious! It is the frist time I have seen those. Loved them all!
-
Furthermore, whether or not the 'whole goddamned world is tuning into Macross World's Other Anime and Science Fiction form' does not excuse the fact that this IS a political thread.
...
Other Anime and Science Fiction = Terminator/Preditor/others = Arnold the action star = Arnold the Body Builder = Celebration of a phenomonal career.
-
Wow, excellent idea!

This is just about the funniest Thread I have seen in a long time.
Can anyone remember the movie he did when he just started making films...a comedy western. They dubbed his voice ect. The character he played wasn't the most intelligent characters... but I will say that it was better than that christmas movie he did (Jingle All the Way?)

Wow Sam,
That is really good! So are you going to paint the SD VF-1J Armored? If you do definatly post the pics!
Really EXCELLENT WORK!
Rob MN
-
Very nice! Thanks for the tip.
Now do you seal it with a clear coat?
Rob MN
-
I've always liked it. Great work!
Rob MN
-
Nice Work! Love the paint scheme.
-
Very Nice Custom. Are you going to do a Camo Motif?
-
Sorry I'm late for the party
Hey Jesse That is an excellent job! You really out-did yourself with this one! Excellent work.
Now if you will just start up a modelling school so those of us who can't make models worth a (you know what)...
Please...
Pretty please....

We also need to remeber that Yamato is not BANDAI and that they may not be able to afford this kind of service.
I guess that is right. But I ordered parts from Bandai about a year back....they sent them to me no charge. Now that is Customer Service.
I called again today (well not me, my partner). They told me to fax the list (of what could be ordered again). They seemed alittle more more friendly this time around....
I swear if I have to get on the train and go to their office with the list in hand.......this has become a personal battle for me that I am determined to win!

Wow the common denomonator is....MONEY
Also...
1. Wife controls all the Money
2. My Son is second in command of the money
3. I live in Japan where renting a shoebox costs $1000.00's
4. I'm a big guy so I need somethng bigger than a shoe box so it's more
5. Kindergarten Money...yes it costs money to send your kid to Kindergarten in Japan
6. Tired of the VF-1 <_<
7. Tried of the current Valk distributors <_<
8. Need to save money for the upcoming WHF
That's about it....same as everyone else

The Agent thinks someone other than him is great? I'm taking a picture of this...
Vostok 7
Is THAT how I come off!?
I like a ton of people around here... Especially myself (I ME!). Though there are a few around here that should be put to sleep.
Now that's the Agent we all love and know
-
I'll take a set. That is excellent work! Now hurry up and finish your Elint Armor!
Rob
elint armour ??uhm im not redoing that one for now
ill have to get cracking on the SDP project after this one so no time for that.
"sniff" I'm never going to get my 1/55 Elint.....The quest will never end....
But I am happy to get the Armor! Just LMK when you need the payment!
Rob MN
-
Nice work. Good Job.
-
I can't believe I missed out on this. I have a 1/60 Hikaru 1A with a broken arm hinge. Will you be taking orders again in the future?
Sorry, I won't be. I am having enough troube trying to get Yamato to fill the present order. Plus in the intial info gathering Yamato said they will not issue parts for the 1/60 scale. Sorry.

Hello,
Just an update. yamato has not responded to the offical order I sent in regarding the items they said "could" be ordered. As soon as they actually take the time to respond or send the items I will let everyone know.
I want to thank everyone for being patient and apologise that it is taking so long. But at this point I do not think that they are going to respond. I could say a lot of bad things but I won't. I know that people at Yamato read these threads and all I can say is: Your customer service leaves something to be desired. <_<
I have an idea...
in MW Site News & Member Feedback
Posted
I'm down for it. I love this place and yes I have made money from it buy selling items. If Shawn wants (or needs) dontations to keep this place running let's just do it. Paypal is a good idea as most people do have a Paypal account, and if he charged like $20.00 for a year membership or something for the 1123 registered members...that would be $22460.00. which i think would be more than enough to run the site and possible hold conventions and such. MW T-Shirts ect.
I also wouldn't mind paying a vendors fee. I think it would be very acceptable. I also think most of the other major sellers would agree.
