my two previous valks, a Low Vis 1.0 and a VF-0S I just sold recently, were pretty good. IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR A 1/48 VF-4???? I mean, hell, just make one, charge me $500-$1000 for it, and I'd shut up for the next 10 years about any toy renditions of the Valkyries!

it's not really complicated, it's similar to the -19's transformation, just the legs are different, that's all.

I am absolutely lost as to the point of this discussion anymore... The VT-1 is a trainer, we all agree right? Maybe it doesn't make the most sense that it is a dedicated trainer but that doesn't stop it from being what it is. I mean seriously, if you want to pick a bird that makes the least amount of sense then you should really stab at the VE-1. Why make that thing transformable at all?

To clarify, the 'it' in my previous post means a toy version of the VF-4, and not the VF-4 design itself. Let's be honest - the way that the legs attach in jet mode would require some sacrifices to the jet mode of any such toy.

with the future of Macross....who knows. Personally, I'd love to see a revamp of the VF-4......with dual beam cannons on each arm! mwahahahaha!

The definative answer is that Kawamori has deemed us lowly humans not yet worthy to experience more of the VF-4.

People are definately expecting a VF-0D to come from them sometime soon, and the YF-19 FAST Pack set coming out adds the second seat to the -19, so there's another two-seater as well.
