  1. I thought Michelle played Catwoman real well, and for a fact :p she was suppose to be nuts.

As for Halle being Catwoman.....uh why? Catwoman I thought was dead? I mean and god WHY would she suddenly be black? Wouldn't that really screw up the movie's?

Personally, batman went straight to hell after Micheal Keaton refused to come back to repraise his role, he worked well as Bruce Wayen, I have all the batman movies, but I don't watch Batman Forver and Batman&Robin that much AT ALL, I thought they both blew.

She's a new Catwoman named Patience Price. She has a all new origin. If you want to read her story go to the link I posted above in a earlier post. Now back to Michelle as Catwoman, I don't want to compare who is the better Catwoman. I've still have to see Halle Berry's version. Eventhough the comic book version was nowhere as over the top as Michelle was.

  2. The best thing for you is to use the code to unlock all the levels. That way if one level is to rough for you can skip it and come back to it. You still have to earn all the veritechs but you can get any Veritech in any order. Also on the game's tutorial there is a code to make you invincable throughout the game. Roy teaches you the basics of the fighter mode. There'll be a part where you'll be fighting 6 robot fighters. Three'll be unarmed and three will be. Destroy all six and quickly exit to the menu and the zentradies can't harm you. You'll know when to exit when Roy congratulates you.

  3. I thought it was pure 60 minutes of toy commerial trash. Every character and vehicle was something that you could buy. In the old cartoon they would have characters and vehicles that were not avaliable for sale but were in the story because called for it. The locations were pretty lame, a Joe Base, Cobra Base & a desert. You don't need to add details like trees, cars, houses or building in a desert. Character designs and animation was modeled more after the new figures then humans. It look more like Toy Story. The story was there one? It was pretty simple. Mind you the old cartoon had some silly plots but there was also some hints of character development.

Yes it was one big commercial but wasn't Transformers the Movie. Also all the G.I.Joe movie, mini series, and regular series. They always introduced the new toys in big events. Yes Hurricane 29, Cobra Commander was always a whiny bitch but that's his appeal. :D

  4. I really enjoyed the Joe CGI movie and most of the characters were identical to their 1980's counterparts. The Snake-Eyes/Stormshadow fights reminded me of those Joe silent stories from the comic books. The story was vintage Larry Hama. For those who weren't around in 1982, Larry Hama wrote the G.I.Joe comics and created most of the Joe Team mythology. He also helped create Joe characters for the toyline like the Dreadnocks. Eventhough, I could've done without the "punk" interpretation of Beach Head. In both the comics and cartoon, B.H. was a tough as nails drill sgt. that took no guff from anyone. Here they made him into a wise cracking jokester. Hopefully, CN will pick it up as a series.

  5. Mangle has rights to the first 36 episodes of the TV series. As of now they aren't doing anymore. I had heard rumors that Gutsoon Entertainment would do with a US release of the new OVA once Mangles rights are done. They are the parent company of Rajin comics who publish the new FOTNS graphic novels and prequel Fist of the Blue Sky comics.

I thought I heard there was a Fist of the Blue Sky anime out there?

  6. I've just seen the new Fist of the North Star ova and it's great. It is new story about Kenshiro fighting a tyrant, Sanga, who wants to dominate the world's last unpolluted water supply. It has a mixture of 2D and CGI effects. The fight scenes are more detailed and fluent. The characters are less mechanacal. The OVA features new characters like Sarah; who can heal people with her fingers and maybe a member of the Hokuto Shiken clan. Also a boy named Doma who can create water from his fists. There's is a silver haired fighter who shows up at the end of the feature. He looks sort of like Rei from the first series. Does anybody know who he might be?

  7. I bet you ANYTHING that is going to be the main chick of shinobu 4 or something!

    They look very similar!

Its not Shinobi 4.... thats the main character of a spin off Shinobi game. Her name is Kunoichi... and thats also the name of the game.

It will use an improved Shinobi engine.... but it won't have anything related to Shinobi in the game itself.

Kunoichi, eh...The screen caps are tight. Any release dates for here in the states?

  8. damn.....it's been like 5 years since i've heard that they were making a superman movie...

IT'S NEVER GOING TO BE MADE!!!!

it was done just perfectly already....why change it around now?

damn AOL-Time Warner just wants to waste money, i guess...let them make the movie and see how bad they do....i'll be sitting in the back row laughing my @$$ off, while it all goes to pieces

I believe the movie will be made because they're already scouting locations for Smallville. Listen it takes time for movies to be made even longer for comic book inspired ones. It took maybe 10 years for X-Men to reach the silver screen. And don't get me started on the Spider-man movie rights debacle. Super-heroes aren't lame and there's been a resurgance maybe due to succeses in other media like tv and movies. Both Marvel and DC have reported sell-out books like JLA/Avengers, Batman, and Teen Titans. Super- Heroes are back. To quote the great Stan Lee, "Excelsior"!!! B)
