  1. I was just thinking the other day, instructions were never finished? I'd just like to make a parts check that I don't have any missing parts. Not that I would be afraid of that, but it's just the standard procedure I make with resin kits. Personally I could use instructions in general too, because this sucker is so big that it would be good to know how a pro guy would put it together securely. I'm not building this in near future, so I'm in no hurry or anything, just a wish. ^_^

  2. Is that the Soul of Popynica Yamato? I want one of those, but I think it won't fit into a Detolf which means I'll have to pass....

A bit off topic in this important thread, but Dante, are Detolfs completely dust proof? I need a display cabinet for my stuff soon...

Oh well, to stay on topic, this is pretty cool:

  3. Man you did great work with the model. The clean, sharp painting style suits it really well. Also, I can see your skills improve all the time. :)

Yeah, I prefer some shading and weathering myself, but that is not necessary at all. Just a matter of taste.

  4. They are quite horrible little kits. They're made by Arii, not snap kits and the fit isn't very funny on some ships. All kinds of dents that need to be puttied etc. They are far from accurate also. But nonetheless they can be built to look ok if you're not too picky.

  5. Yeah a N-Ger DYRL version would be a Grail kit to me. I am just guessing that in 1/72 it would be big, heavy, and costly..

Ditto. I would just have to fund it anyway. Wouldn't definitely miss on that one. The same with big Q-rau. But DYRL N-Ger is even more grail kit to me.
