  1. Model kits are actually custom free here, but it is the 22% value adding tax there is still. So if I order a Yamato Valk there is a toy customs tax in addition, I don't know how much that is, some percents I suppose (I have one VF+FP+stand though, I paid the HLJ price+ems+taxes. LOL?!?). Over here you may need to open the box in front of the officer, they give you scissors.

BUT, most of my shipments don't go to the customs at all, thank God. But it is not rare either.

  2. I suggest you get your facts straight, the Aussie ones aren't boots at all.

They are fully licenced complete with all the linear notes and other books that Animego included in the original sets. They are packaged differently because they come from HG but I can assure you they are not pirates.

Not sure when you were in Australia last but we have fairly tight laws concerning pirated copies of anything and as these sets are available from major retail outlets it's pretty safe to say they are the real thing.

He's talking about the Aussie ones... which are bootlegs.

Heheh, actually I knew it was about the Madman dvds. Not the first time I see somebody thinks they're bootlegs. ;)

But as said, they are not. That's the set I have myself too.

Madman is a big anime publisher in Australia. Almost all of my ~80 anime dvds are Madman releases.

  3. I could always ask wayne to give me a close pic of some of thr details for you to have a look at.

Thanks Berttt, I think it would be best to see high res pics of unpainted parts with a black panel wash so that the details could be seen.
