  1. @nightmareB4macross Nonsensical or not I’m blown away. What a cool concept and execution. 👍 A dull blade is asking for a bad cut but I get the reasoning. It must have taken forever to get it to where it is today.
  2. Very cool. What was the inspiration?
  3. Wait, what the? What’s up with all the cut out sections?
  4. A new 1:144 Outtreasure injection kit of the Kubalkan Haretsu No Ningyou Gatexion Mark3 Dharmas is releasing in September. That’s a mouth full. lol. I’m so excited! https://www.hlj.com/1-144-scale-s-s-i-kubalkan-haretsu-no-ningyou-gatexion-mark3-dharmas-five-star-stories-ots00078#
  5. Slap on some paint and call it good. Why bother with panel lines or top coat? This hunk of plastic couldn’t care less about that fancy stuff. I love you new/old RX78-2. You are the best chunky buddy and will forever grace my bench as I approach the end of my first year in building model kits, dolls, toy things. 🤪
  6. @nightmareB4macross Looks great!
  7. Take the bench outside when it’s nice out and spray on some crappy rust-oleum primer and see how it goes.
  8. I feel ya. My private warehouse is scaring me right now.
  9. Oh yeah! 👍 OCD game on point.
  10. @MechTech Yeah that revival kit is in the entry grade series and part of their 45th anniversary. It’s priced right too at around $10. The design has been completely reworked while the proportions and basic appearance have remained the same. The seam line placement was thought out so they aren’t visibale from the front along with many other QOL improvements over the original. A very fun 20 minute build while on the couch. Just need to give it a proper paint job or maybe something wild? Now onto your project. Wow!!! That is some outstanding work. This is why I love creeping around this forum. You and many others are flexing your amazing skills and it’s so inspiring. Thanks so much for sharing. @Urashiman the test print looks great!
  11. I think you are right about that.
  12. @megatron-uk Those look wonderful!
  13. I’m dying laughing over here. Hahaha ✌️
  14. Hahaha. 😂 I find the thick clunky style of the older kits so endearing. It’s fun to see it reappear more refined.
  15. @Thom HAHA. Kit”s” is right. Very nice. @nightmareB4macross echoing what Thom said, I’m really digging the hands. 👍 Sometimes the strangest things show up at the bench. This was my dessert after dinner. Ice cream would have been nice, but you work with what ya got. This was such a fun chunk of a build. I’m excited to paint this sucker. It was cool that the instructions included comparisons between the OG release and all the new technologies that went into this “revival” version. A lot has changed in 45 years.
  16. Thanks. The seller had a photo of the runners and it looked very simple. Hope I have enough putty seeing it’s an old kit. 🤣
  17. Finished this FSS freak last night. I am seeing improvement in my builds, but there are always lots of places to improve. I have an old ARII 1/100 Fighter VF-1D coming in the mail. That will be my next build and first aircraft model. Super excited to build that trainer.
  18. Thanks. I’ll search for it.
  19. I know this is a Hasegawa thread, but do you know if the Moderoid kits would do transformation?
