Apologies if someone has already posted about them but I cant find them. 

£168 GBP including tax and shipping for the re released YF19 

£227 GBP including tax and shipping for the preorder of the YF23

Just dont get it. In terms of JPY these are 31,000 Yen and 42,000 yen. 

So this is probably cheaper than the Japanese Sites after shipping etc, but still cant get over that price difference for nothing extra between the two.

Everything just costs more to make and move days...we are just lucky that the Japanese currency is not doing that great at the moment so the MSRP doesn't sting that bad...

I appreciate that, but I am not comparing 25,000 JPY from 2018 I am comparing the YF-19 DEC 2023 release at 25,000 JPY to a YF-21 2024 Release at 35,000 JPY.

I know, I guess I was hoping for a slightly more legitimate reason rather than greed. 

Cause this isnt even a slight jump...

i still cant understand how the YF-19 is like 25000 yet but this is like 35000 yen?

Why such a significant markup? It is rather ridiculous especially when they know people will have to buy it.

Just got mine, have to say its not nearly as polished as the other VF-31s, and the packagaing wasnt nearly as great as the VF-31s. 

The paint is a bit rough in some areas. Figure is ridiculously tight as well.

Wont be purchasing anymore VF-31AX tbh

Congrats, I remember buying gamlin ages ago when it came out and was cheap. Still my favourite in fighter mode. 

Pairs nicely with arcadia yf-19 in fighter mode.

I reckon the more people that buy from Non Japanese sites the more supply may appear for future releases.

I find it very telling that NY still haven't listed the Mirage type. Kinda sums up the state of affairs at the company. Shame 

Carn believe they're still Using Styrofoam tray, kinda rubbish. It's the reason why my mirage yellowed whilst boxed up because I didn't have the plastic separating the foam tray and the fighter. 

Am I the only one that feels like buying the GBP set was the cheapest way to buy a DX VF-1J? Cause thats why I bought it. 

Lol more a wish and a possible guess because Max VF-1J was shown when the GB armors were being shown.

When other DX Chogokins have been close to their release dates the prices tended to be 25 to 50% markup on the RRP. It seems now, or at least with the 1J GBP the price so close to release date is as close to RRP as it has been for a while. Hence my comment. 

It's promising to see that scalpers are slowly backing away, at least for this one.

Wow mate, that's tough. Really sorry to hear that. Enjoy the new collection and the car. 

My VF-31C has recently yellowed, left in the box. Was the Styrofoam for sure thst caused it. The other DX VF-31s I have had a plastic sheet between the valk and the Styrofoam and they had no issues. 

Will contemplate this process once I muster up the courage to do it.
