If the Super Pack is to be added, the Lil' Drackens in Ghost format with the sword and shield (a la Luca's RVF-25 Elint add-on minus the missles) would be the logical choice.

I admit its been awhile since I've received a package wrapped like this! Air cushion mat, heatshrink plastic and secured to another board. I paid just a little less for ems shipping for my pg exia I got from hlj, but all that was is just the kit's box in a shipping box with some air cushions, lol.

I got the same type of packaging from Manda when I ordered the Neca Alien Queen (sans the air bubble cushion on the bottom of the box).

To me, any of the large Macross valks that reaches beyond the $200 USD and hard to acquire (upon exchange to CND funds) is considered a "Holy Grail" to me and that doesn't include the other stuff that I also collect (I do recognize a fair amount of members in this forum in which I also participate in the TF one as well).    

I was frequently reading into this thread every now and then and the pics that @Xigfridhas posted up has made me thinking.. Could these KO Fast/Strike parts and the VF-1 valks be produced by BB7/YM (the ones that makes variant KO MP-11s and the coneheads) and are possibly better than the official releases? I have a YM-03 and it was better leaps and bounds than the original release of the MP-11 (I read that the releases with the Long Life brand Logo is just as the same of the original one).

Won't be surprised if BB7/YM did branch out into this field and made their own tweeks in regards to the molds.  

Looks like the Vf-31J Kai is beyond reachable expectations and now becoming another "Holy Grail" of valks to aquire..  For that amount, I would rather get a G1 Grand Maximus, Victory Leo or Desaurus! 

Starting to warm up on the colour scheme on Arad's valk as it looked quite funky when I first saw it. As for the add-ons, the GBP and Fast pack (with reaction missiles) would be a given choice, will the sound booster/holograpghic projector also be in consideration (possibly not)?   

@Xigfrid: If Roid's Draken does get issued, would you have it in the plain Jane version or in the DeCultured scheme like in the Hasawaga 1/72 kit? I think that the one with the Mikumo would be the instant seller.   As for the other versions (Bogue, Cassim et all), it will be depending on how the Keith and Roid will go sales wise.

Actually the Yamato did have this function.

Time: Approximately 1:20 to 1:40 and 1:50 to 2:00.

I actually like the Nora version rather than the Ivanov or the mass release versions. I'm sure that Arcadia can make the colours more vibrant than compared to Yamato's.

@Graham: The VF-31A will be released in March. Since you did not get the VF-31J Kai, you made the best choice to let your wallet recover.

For those who have looked the Tamashii Website, there is two listings for the VF-31J Kai. One is for the release for this month (non-Bandai collector) and the other one is March (Bandai Collector Version). Am I correct that this one that is released is the non-Bandai collector (however the Tamashii Nations 2017 exclusive) and the other one to be released n March will cost you an arm and a leg?

I could actually go for Arad's version as well @brouken if I can't get either Mirage or a SV-262 for that matter. Can we all safely say that the GBP will the add on pack as shown in the movie poster?

I think that Arad will be a good complement for my Arcadia VF-1S Roy DRYL and the upcoming SV-51.

The man himself with the flowing cape during the Vegas years. Hmm.. I'm sure that someone can do a digibash of Roid's valk a la Elvis style.

One a side note and talking about Elvis, I saw Blade Runner 2049 (in 3D) two weeks ago. K and Deckard's skirmish in the theater with the holo Elvis playing was quite fitting.

Hopefully that the actual Kai box is not damaged (if so then you're going to have to file a query to the postage company themselves on how they are handling the packages. I also seen horror stories in regards to the postage handlers on YouTube, and it wasn't too pleasing. You can also send out a message to the place in where you got the Kai).

I think that Elvis a template for Roid's valk and that he wants to stand out compared to others. Now the question remains, can Roid belt out the songs and do the obligatory Elvis famous pose in is valk in battriod mode?

Have you fiddled with the Revo Megs or is it still in the box? I've read that Wolvie is better made than Deadpool and Venom put together and that Megs is also following suit. I can see a Fatal Attraction re-creation with the two in a diorama when battling together.

After selling off my two Yamatos 1/60 Fast and Strike Roy: DYRL (MK.1) and VF-1J Hikaru with the GBP (also MK.1) when relocating back into YVR from YYZ, I bought this as a replacement after much debate and received it last month on the 15th, got it used as it was a display item.

I've been looking around and you're right. The Draken is cheaper than compared to the VF-31s as they are the focal points (with their valks in tow) in the storyline and rest of the other valks are minor characters (or Bantha fodder in the Star Wars lore).

That would be the creame de la creame in regards of the Drakens as I've seen the 1/72 model kit and it looks impressive. If the approval was given to produce it, I'm sure that a metallic while flaked paint would be used (the other problem would be the paint chips  if changed into either battroid/gerwalk modes).  

I've been reading through this thread and also the VF-31 back to back as the enemy Valks always have gotten more of my attention. The pics of the Draken and the little ones have made it hard to deicide to either get this or the VF-31C. The upcoming SV-51 makes more temping to pair up the two SV's together.  

Even though I'm debating in either getting the VF-31C or the SV-262, I like this version (VF-31J Kei) more compared with the previous release as Hayate did pay tribute to Messier after his death (with a slight alteration with the Reaper logo and added black stripes to his valk), just like Hikaru did when Roy died in DYRL.

I think that Arcadia would be making the gaps more flush with the valk and stabilizing the wings to accommodate both the fuel tanks and the missiles. Tighter tolerances will be also in implemented as well.

I also agree in this as well.

Was considering the VF-2SS and decided not to get it, rather get the Ostrich and Elintseeker to flank with my Roy Vf-1S and maybe with the Figuarts War Machine (MK 1) and Iron Man (MK 43) along side.  

Without the display stand , I'm sure that you can use the Flightpose or the Yeti Stand given the fact that the Yammie release had a huge wingspan (providing that you don't bump into it by accident and topple it over when displayed on a shelf).

I've seen pics of the wings in the pre-deployed position when displayed in a Detolf, and was wondering if it was displayed once with the full wingspan (not going to sift through the various pics of valks that are displayed in the collection thread)?  

The VF-31J Kai was actually listed on Mandarake not too long ago and was snapped up very quickly. That's what happens when a limited release item is released to the general public.
