I'm a bit jelly of all you guys who already have theirs! Really glad I found one on Manda and put in a claim against NY.

My DHL delivery eta has now revised to Monday 14th.. looks like it got delayed a little in Japan. Oh well.. I'll be on holidays by then so I'll be home to receive it.

I’d like to know how many claims NY has been carpet bombed with.

They deserve it, my claim was submitted December 2nd, glad you got your claim in also.

I’m good with just 3 VF-1S Roys:  1 to open, 1 to keep MISB, and 1 just in case.

1 to open and 1 sealed is where I stayed, grabbed my second from Luna yesterday. But I totally get having 3, I did that years ago with the 25G renewal.

Luna Park did a terrible job on packing my Metal Build Launcher Striker parts, only a single layer of bubble wrap then into a DHL shipping bag, 7/8 corners are rounded and dents here and there on box.

Ouch.  That kinda screws my plug for Luna Park!

No, I'm just curious. I didn't recall any HMR figure posted here that was available at Luna from the last couple of page. So I was wondering about your stuck shipment post.

I understand.  I was responding to the question about Luna having delays.  I got a DX Roy from them so I was giving some encouragement to others that their shipping is coming through.

    -Log into PayPal

    -Find the transaction.

-Click on the Report A Problem link (it has a triangle next to it).

-Fill out the form. You only need to tell them that you did not receive your item. That's it. Don't say anything more than that. I think you have the option at that point to escalate it. Do that. You don't need to give NY time to respond. Go straight for the jugular. They will start an investigation. If NY doesn't ship it and supply proof of delivery in I think it's 10 days (which was all know they won't) PayPal will automatically credit you the money.

-NY will ban you from further purchases. I'm sure you will be heartbroken.

This.  To anyone on the fence, don’t hope.  You will get burned.  I submitted my dispute on the 2nd, my guess is PayPal is going to see a huge trend here.  I wouldn’t be surprised if they suspend Nippon Yasan’s ability to use PayPal.

  6. I like how you painted the tips of the missiles to look like the opaque lense covers of those early version Infrared Seekers.

if that wasn’t what you were trying to do, you pulled it off anyway.  You nailed the color.

I added the Aurora and Smoke lenses to the tips of my DX Missiles to act as seeker heads and that detail really brings those missiles to life.  The early IR missiles and some IR/Radar combination missiles have a grey/yellow color to them and the more modern pure IR seekers essentially look like camera domes at the tip of the missile.

looks great man, you really did a great job.  I’m sure your Father would be proud.

After a little more searching It appears that it's not universal, however as I spent several months flying the TH-67 (first picture) out of Fort Rucker I can assure you this has been a common color pallet for training aircraft in the US Armed Services. :)

Are those t-38’s or A4’s on the deck or something else, that’s a great photo.  I’m sure there are examples, I’ve just seen a lot though on the experimental or prototypes.  I was trying to comment more on where they put the bright orange and that a vf-1D would be a solid strike aircraft.  Thanks for clarifying that and sharing the photo’s.

Just my opinion, but United States training aircraft are almost all white and orange. I would assume Hikaru's 1D follows that general idea, and that all other training aircraft should/would be painted in that scheme.  However what do you do when aliens invade and all training must be done in deep space in a war zone?  Paint them the same as the rank and file?  Maybe.  However, Virgin Road is all full of weird 2nd party animation errors, sooooo......

It’s actually test aircraft colored white or grey and orange.  The orange is usually on areas to monitor pitch, yaw, and roll with high visibility.  Training aircraft are usually a smaller jet with similar characteristics like the T-38 being used to train for everything up to and including the F-22 Raptor.

In the master file there are good photos of 1-D’s operating as strike aircraft with the second pilot doing targeting and countermeasures and they are in grey combat colors.  They look badass.

Im stripping my DX 1D down and painting it as a grey strike aircraft.

  9. I opened a PayPal claim on NY for the DX Roy,  Dom Troppen,  and the Super Parts Missiles.

they have a strategy of running out the clock by getting early preorders that go past the 180 days of PayPal Protection.  Once they don’t ship on release, you’re already past 180.

Anyone order from Luna park? Anyone hear anything from them?

Yes, they shipped mine on Monday and respond well when you contact them.  They are solid.  I’ve gotten all of my second DX copies from them so far.  Going forward I’m not  buying the first through NY anymore and going straight through Luna

  11. The issues with Nippon Yasan happened when Japan began restricting certain types of mail options from Japan and into other countries.  Nipping Yasan then continued taking orders and allowing customers to select shipping options that were banned by their country.  This in turn led to customers waiting on their items to ship and then being told they could pay an excessive fee to have it shipped UPS or select a less desirable shipping option that increased shipping time and limits visibility with little and sometimes no tracking options.

It’s a terrible way to service customers but no legal action will take root or go forward, COVID-19 has been a powerful reason for judges to dismiss lawsuits.

The worst thing they did was take all of the orders on movie strike parts and never fulfill them and then only offer vouchers.  They basically took money with regard to the Movie Strike Parts.

Your credit card company is the best option.

And although i know it seems unlikely, after COVID restrictions are gone, I think most will still use Nippon Yasan as they always got product, people have short memories and even those who got screwed will often go with it again based on the circumstances being different.

I’m getting pounded by them now to, paying high service fees to get my Fokker and TV Super Parts, and I have a Dom Troppen that has been in preparation in progress for over a month and a half.

So many releases coming out for the UC fans. Really surpassing MSiA/EMSiA in terms of selection.

    RGM-79C GM Type C Space

    https://tamashii.jp/special/gundam_anime/gm_space.html

    MS-06F-2 Zaku II F2

    https://tamashii.jp/special/gundam_anime/zaku2_f2.html

If the trend continues, they have been releasing figures in order of appearance with Stardust Memory.  That would mean we may start tinder the DOM R2 space type released as we have already seen the EFSF space mobile suits for Stardust Memory get released.

  13. Im starting to think something is coming in regard to MG Zaku’s.  It’s based on the following but it all could be wrong:

The GFF Origin Zaku series has been wildly successful.  The panel lining and molding is incredible.

MG Zaku 2.0’s are all up significantly in price.  Standard High Mobility Zaku’s are now in excess of $100.00 shipped when during their normal condition a Johnny Ridden or Tri-Star was around $50.00.  The Ridden R-2 is now between $80-100 and the Tri-Star is almost $140.00.  Chars 2.0 Zaku used to be $35-45 and is now almost $60-$70.

I did see COVID-19 push all MG gunpla up in price as many wanted to build during quarantine, but the Zaku’s specifically jumped tremendously in price.  This price increase is likely due to supply dwindling.

I’m starting to wonder if they are holding off reprints because a Zaku 2.5/3.0/Origin is coming in order to offer panel line details throughout and different proportions.

  14. Hi everyone:

I’m looking to buy the Parts to assemble the backpack and backpack frame and thrusters for the MS-06-S 2.0.  If you have these parts, please let me know as I really need it for a project.
