  1. JRC Design has the Kingdom Lambo spoilers available; two versions. 1) Looks just like the already produced Siege spoilers most of us have. 2) He has added some "Intake scoops" to the spoiler which would cover the non-painted vents on Sideswipe. 3) He has also designed leg-locks for Tracks in bot mode, for those who don't want tempt fate by breaking out the pliers and finishing the figures assembly.

Lazy Eyebrow also has some cool print files available; 1) New headlights for Datsuns, ditches the lenses covers for the old sunken-in round ones.  This seems more like a thing for Prowl and Bluestreak, with Smokescreen, Barricade and hopefully Silverstreak being more of a race or customized Z with the racing front ends. 2)a 5mm peg adapter for Studio Series Optimus, which helps to better center the Earthrise trailer over the axles. These are available at Shapeways apparently as well.

Edit: Lazy Eyebrow, not JRC is the one who designed the spoiler with scoops, in his video the spoiler itself was loose on their pegs but this has supposedly been fixed.

unreleased G2 sandstorm was supposed to be a ramjet redeco is why.  agree would have been fine having him be a dirge reuse too but can see why for history's sake they went with ramjet.

    see https://tfwiki.net/wiki/Sandstorm_(G2)

Key word in that sentence, supposed. I can't possibly imagine the ratio of fans wanting a G2 recolor that never happened, until recently,  is larger than the fans who would simply like a complete set of the Seekers; even if they aren't colored correctly.  From what I can tell, both G2 versions of Ramjet will most likely end up going on sale below MSRP; whereas the mold could have sold easily twice as many units, by simply changing the wings.  As often as this Franchise is forced to backtrack and try and explain some techno-mumble-jumble, is changing a characters wings really that big a deal, particularly one who didn't actually come to fruition?

  3. I'll end up with most of the E.R. Seekers; the Dirge/Ramjet two pack is not happening unless it's re-released.  Will most likely end up getting G2 Ramjet just so he's represented and worst case scenario becomes just another Seeker.  What I don't understand is why they reused Ramjet twice already, they could have made Sandstorm the Dirge mold and people would have picked it for that fact alone, but three versions of Ramjet just doesn't make sense to me.

  4. Monsters of Man: The acting is tolerable, the story is actually quite good.  C.I.A. and Acme Tech Company send in advanced A.I. robots for a "field test"; naturally what was supposed to be a safe zone for testing these things, turns into a potential political nightmare when intel isn't as up to speed as it perhaps should be.  One of the robots has a malfunction and thanks to some kids, has it's "safety-limiter" removed by some local kids, this has Ultron levels of "crap" written all over it.  The remaining bots, take to their mission like good little soldiers and sweep the area of any witnesses, except for a group of American medical students, a disgruntled ex-Seal and a few villagers.  As soon as the military realizes that the first robot is not down but now actually free, they set the others to hunt it down as well.  Due to the ever expanding crap-storm that is unfolding, both government and Acme Tech company start to limit their exposure to what is quickly becoming a SNAFU.  It does have both Chappie and iRobot aspects to it well.  I found this to be far more entertaining and thought provoking than Netflix's other recent release Sweet Girl with J. Momoa and the pre-teen/now teen actress from the last Bayformers film with Walburg; that has a twist but one that doesn't hold up after 2 minutes of thinking it through.

The Last Czar's, and Rise of the Ottoman Empire are actually really good Docu-Drama's; I thought.  The Last Czar's is worth the watch for the performances of the actors portraying Nicholas and Rasputin, who they go into far more detail than I was aware was known.  They also tackle the issue of Anna/Anastatia who turned up in Berlin in 1923.  Neither of these are family friendly; mainly violence and language in Ottoman but nudity as well in Last Czar's.

  5. They can keep the Macguire MJ in her universe; though if you import that universe's Gwen Stacey, I'm completely okay with it. She is a natural Ginger if it helps. So the Sinister Six VS. 3 Spidermen (possibly), two for certain; starting to sound like Spiderman 3.  Too much in far too little time.  Macguire is going to have some explaining to do with Norman; cause you know he's going to ask about his boy.

Get yourself a Blu-Ray player, and join us in the 21st century. :p

    https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Rad-Blu-ray/283065/

I have one, technically, XBox1; even have a few Blu-rays but without a corresponding TV and sound system, what's the point?  My DVD collection is far too vast to have to begin replacing everything again. My parents owned a couple of video rental stores (C.C. Entertainments) from Betamax to Laser Disc. When the stores finally closed; too much competition(every grocery store and gas station) I got to pick out one hell of a collection; which was then replaced when I worked for Blockbuster a few years before their bubble burst.  Honestly, I'm not thrilled with the newer T.V.'s, the clarity is exceptional but I feel like I'm watching an old "home video" and not a show or actual movie, it loses some of it's magic, to me.

Foot meet mouth, again. It wasn't officially released until March of this year in Steelbook and yesterday in usual packaging. Choices, choices; thanks for the links!

Didn't mean to hijack the thread, back to Transformer stuff.

I think I might; one of the theaters in the Northtown Mall in downtown Spokane is showing it. I've never seen TF:TM in a theater, so it'd be a neat experience. I just watched my old DVD yesterday. Man that soundtrack, especially the Stan Bush songs, still grabs ya.   "And you can win if you Dare!" :lol:

John Farnham is the only other song writer to really compete, as far as catchy, "uplifting", 80's rock soundtracks go.  Rad; Break the Ice and Thunder In Your Heart.  Oddly enough, both films have direct ties to Sly Stallone's works.

  8. Appreciate the link!  If it had been in Cape Girardeau I would have driven the distance and hunted the Walmarts, Walgreens and Target along the way.  They're showing the closest destinations as all out of state; at that distance I'd have better luck going north to StL, same mileage and better shopping attempts.

We have a multiplex here but they so seldom show any of the "special showings" offered in theaters nowadays.

Hey, I meant to ask, is anyone else going to see the '86 movie in theaters? I got my ticket. I ordered the Matt Ferguson x Transformers ringer tee from Zavvi to wear to it.

If I could go back to the very theater I watched it in, in 86'; I would be all over it.  Sadly that mall has completely closed; doubt that it will be showing anywhere near me, will have to check.

  10. Canada apparently got Red Alert first; Ebay is showing several listings out of there with him in Hand, a few from overseas.  LazyEyebrow has an early review up, not his typical stop-motion ones though.  Why Hasbro do some figures get premium paint application while others in the same mold get the most basic?  Spin-Out/Red Alert compared to Sunstreaker/Sideswipe.

As someone who paid for Pulse Premium, it's nice to have a benefit beyond free shipping on all the orders I had to cancel because I found the figures in store before Pulse shipped.

In any case, it's actually a Walgreen's exclusive.  I don't see it online, but most of the other Walgreen's exclusives I've found in my local stores, so keep an eye out.

Oh I'll be checking the one Walgreen's we do have in town but knowing this town, I doubt they ever actually make it to the shelf.  R.A. may just have to stay in the background is all.

Which ones did you get?  I held off on the various 3D-printed ones.  I might have liked to see Go Better take a stab at it, but Nonnef just released some so I grabbed two white (SG and ER Ratchet) and one red (ER Ironhide).  He shipped today, so I should have a review in a couple of days.

Got them through TFSafari so I believe they are the 115 Workshop versions.  I did  pick-up Nonnef's Red Ratchet set to help my S.G. Ratchet look more like his G1 self, minus his eyes and the pin-striping he's there.  I'm intrigued by the sled's that are starting to be offered for the mold as it harkens back to the G1 toy or the pilot where B.B. gets in the rear of Ironhide and "creates a new river"; of course that will never happen.  I feel you on the spoilers, leg fillers and weapons for the Siege Lambo's, finally managed to snag a G2 Sideswipe to go along with Deep Cover.

Aw, I was just headed over to post this.  It agrees with a lot of the leaks I posted months ago... that the next series would be Legacy, that it would be a mix of G1 and other Transformers, that we were getting Tarantulas, Inferno (the ant), Skids, Blaster, and new Stunticons (happily surprised that they're starting with Dragstrip).  A new, smaller class with SS86 Rumble, SS86 Wheelie, and DotM Laserbeak is a bit of surprise, but not unwelcome.  Deluxe Kickback, very nice.  Dragon Megatron and Armada Starscream, I can dig it.

I'm not get too excited about SS86 Ratchet, though.  The price indicates that it's the same class as Rumble, something Legends/Core-sized.  I know, he and Ironhide deserve better than the Earthrise one... well, at least I have new feet coming for them.

So my guess is Friday we're going to have preorders for the rest of Kingdom and the announcement of Legacy, then?

Oh, and if we're lucky, maybe this...

Why is it the Smokescreen/Barricade mold and not the Prowl/Silverstreak mold?  Just when I think I've finished buying all the upgrade kits needed for a mold.

Personally on the fence with the Vanette feet upgrade, have them, put them on and immediately removed them again.  I liked the look in pictures of the feet in Bot mode but not in person. So now it's just another parts-forming option for them.

  14. Received my copy of Tracks this weekend; I'll let Mike do the actual review but wanted to let everyone know you might want to pick up a second copy for Alt mode alone.  Hoping it's just my copy but his legs are very loose and don't like to stay tabbed together, in either mode.  Nothing a little glue wouldn't fix, but this is why a second copy would be needed as well.  Vette mode will scale well with Jazz (his feet are just a really big rear diffuser), and the Lambo's; the wider proportions of the vehicles maintains.  The Z cars still look good next to the Vette but my profession won't allow me to unsee what I'm seeing; the Vette should be slightly larger than a Z and instead they come off as exactly the same sizes.  Bot size wise, Tracks again falls into line with the same figures.

  15. Granted, it's been 35+ plus years since I watched the show with any kind of real attention; but I don't think my memory is that misplaced.  Yes, Skeletor is the ultimate Baddie of Eternia but one who still answers to Hordak to a degree.  I don't see Hordak and the Horde very happy with Skeletor when the whole universe starts to die off because Skeletor has decided to finally attempt true desperation tactics and succeeded; so far.  So other than ruining the rest of the universe already established by the original shows, the Revelation is confirmation of Teela's mother and her need to overtake that role or she becomes Eternia's new She-Ra.  Not upset, just disappointed; nothing new with Netflix.

  16. So now we're back to not being able to change the outcome; just how the outcome unfolds? Guess we get to find out who the Vamp's were in the cockpit.  Time travel has been done so interstellar and or dimensional travel? Interstellar War with worm hole jumps?

Now that I have a few minutes and we're picking The Tomorrow War apart......The weapons drove me insane!

      Hide contents

7.5" barrel AR15's with the entire Brownell's catalog bolted to them! They took a round that was pretty much ineffective against the White Spikes and shortened the barrel so they were less effective and had less range. Absolutely what you want when fighting something that has ranged weapons of its own. They should have been carrying Barrett M82's. Or at least some future gun with a REALLY big round with tons of energy delivered down range. Preferably incendiary. They were unloading 100+ rounds of 5.56 into those aliens to slow them down/kill them. No wonder the humans were losing!:pardon:

Back to those stupid AR's. It looks like they had 3x ACOG's on there as the main optic. Arguably over powered for a 7.5" SBR. Then they bolted a 1x RMR at 45deg because......reasons.:search:And that stock/grip arrangement. What is the intended use of that disaster for? Then the loop as the fore grip? Those things made my brain hurt!

The only gun that made sense was the semi auto shotgun that the guy who was on his third tour had. It sucks for range, but at least he could kill an alien up close with a couple of rounds.

You would think in a post John Wick world that movies would figure out the gun thing.

Yeah, the "Bean Counters" had absolutely no say in how that weapon was put together, nor did any Military Armorer for that matter.  You left out the blast can, which is only going to do wonders for everyone's hearing inside a building or under a concrete bridge.  The AR10 at the end was respectable as far as build went; accurately useful at the range where he actually hurts it, not really. (Unless there were offset sights on it as well; didn't catch them there though.)
