  1. I have really been enjoying the show. The dialogue between the characters has been fantastic and the studio has put nuance in the conversations. Just little phrases here and there that I have really enjoyed. This last episode has revealed the current setting outside of the school and there is a lot Sunrise can dive into.

    Spoiler

I like that they reversed the usual Gundam dynamic, with space having most of the power and using Earth as labor resources. On top of that the corporations have the power and not governments waring with each other. It is a nice change and still feels like a Gundam story.

They are also laser focused on developing the characters and the relationships between each other. I find that has been the main focus for the series so far, and (guessing) will be the focus for most of the first 12 episodes. I don't see them leaving the school until episode 10-12. If they don't leave the school at all I feel Sunrise is missing out on some rich storyline that they started setting up in episode four.

  2. I already put in a pre-order. I read the comic Robbie is based off and really liked his character. This was an easy buy in for me despite the price. If they are going to throw in more figures for the tier unlock that will be even better. I think the price is high for the kickstarter but oh well. A $200 or $250 would have been better.

Same here. I really love the mecha designs from AoZ since it's started. And man, that's just 20 years ago. I'm all for it if they continue the variants in the MRD line. With all its bulkiness, I would love to have it in this scale so it's more manageable. ;)

I really do want to have multiples, but I'm really in that point where I can only manage to order a set. Gone are the days of buying multiples for me. If the Hrududu II comes in 2 set unit like what they did with the first Hrududu, I think I'm good with 1 set. If not, then that's the only time I'll get 2. Wish they will go with Owsla next time with a Gigantic Arm Unit Option Set or a Titans color variant of Advanced Hazel bundled with Hrududu and Gaplant Booster. Now, that it's going to be awesome. :good:  I don't mind them doing some AoZ Re-Boot mechas as well.

I am tempted to get two Woundworts, one for with the Hrududu setup and one without. But we see how much P-Bandai will be charging. I am honestly running through most of my pre-orders so I might be able to swing it.

I would like to see an Advanced Hazel in Titan colors come out next too, I love the style of the Hazel. Or a Kehaar would be cool. If they can do the Woundwort they should be able to do the Kehaar. I wonder how far down the AOZ line Bandai has plans for.

  4. I watched the prologue episode yesterday and loved it! There was a lot of new ideas that they haven't done before, like the GUND system starting with prosthetics, then being bought and moved to weapon application. The mobile suit designs were a good mixed between more traditional with the LF-03 to Reconguista-ish designs. Those suits definitely seemed like a refined version of Reconguista. The story was interesting and the writers did some good world building. Hopefully the main series has the same stellar animation as the prologue.
