It's pretty sad but also very true. It reminds me of that TRU Japan thread that someone posted a couple of weeks ago. In almost every picture you could see isles among isles of Gundam products. When it came time to show the Macross stuff it was kinda pathetic. ONE measley area of shelf space for a couple of 1:48 Yammies (I believe it was a Maximillian Jenius).

It depends. The official GITS:SAC DVD's are gonna cost you a grip.....and I'm not even sure if they're subtitled. Apparently Mangle (opps....Manga) is going to release the first season here in the US (on DVD) in a couple of months. So I guess you can wait for those. Me? I don't have enough money to buy anymore DVD's (at the moment). I went the quick route and purchased MI's DVD Boxset for $35.

The commercials make it look pretty exciting, the CG looks pretty good for a comic book movie. Can't go wrong with casting Ron Perlman as Hellboy, he has tons of experience with prosthetic acting parts. I might see it when it comes out.

I also have MI DVD Boxset and there's plenty of interviews with the seiyuu's for GITS:SAC. Here's the lovely seiyuu for Major Kusanagi.

Does anyone on MW have the first GITS game they released for the PS1? I looks like they're giving away free crystal statues of the Major and a Tachikoma (probably ONLY available overseas).
