    My very first big valk!, now my macross quarter wont feel lontely.

    I woke up with the ring of the doorbell, and there it was the mail man with my HLJ box.

    I only saw it for a bit, but took it out of the window and no pink hue, same with indoors light.

    I certainly agree with everyone else about the unknowns regarding quality, durability, etc.... But no one has mentioned the price. At about only 2/3 the cost of the Arcadia version, I think (IMHO) it's a no-brainer to pick up if you're a fan of the 19 and your interest is still high after watching the video.

    I'm actually in the opposite situation as you (don't have the previous YF-19s but have a pre-order for this VF-19) and I'm actually somewhat glad I didn't pay secondhand market price for the Arcadia now since I'm liking the esthetics of the VF-19 more and don't mind the more complex transformation at all. Like ArchieNov, I'm a fan of the engineering.

    an interesting item to start with! Normally you'd start with a Valkyrie but Macross Quarter is still cool! Well done! =)

    i already ordered some Valks, but this arrived first. I bought Arcadia 1/60 VF-1J 30th Anniversary from jenius, but i wouldnt have it till i travel back to florida. My armored VF1-J should arrive on tuesday and im waiting for the release of the VF19A and VF-29B

    Eh I have a Yf-21 from Yamato but not the YF-19 from either Yammie or Arcadia. The 19 should be from a different toy company since...in M+ they're from different manufacturers anyway right? Ok let's go with that.

    Looking at this valk, its a YF-19 right? Why is this thread and the preorders calling it a VF-19?

    Im not sure, but i think its called VF-19 because its not the Macross Plus version, but the Macross Frontier movie version.

    The VF-25S was not limited to 1 per person. But HLJ was supposed to send 1 per person due to limited stock but some slip through their mailing process and some people managed to get 2 or more.

    The VF-19A is limited to 1 per person. The way some people get around this limit is by placing seperate orders of 1 each time. However, HLJ has now crack down on this and if you are caught your account will be frozen and you need to write to them and promise you won't break their rules again if you want your account back.

    that might explain the small timed windows to order the YV-19, maybe they are tracking and canceling multiple proreders on same accounts?

    Just manage to get one on this "bugs" on HLJ, like i did with the armored VF-1J and i got it, and its on its way :).

    hopefully ill get this one too, i just dont think of it as a bug, more like they are taking more preorders on limited quantities
