  1. Just a quick but silly question.. how does one correctly pronounce "Mospeada" ?

    Mos pay dah

    Or

    Mos pee ahh dah

    Or other..

This has bugged me for many years..

im a spanish speaker and always thought of it as mos pee ahh dah.

So, as i am never wrong that must be the true pronunciation of it.

WAIT, im mistaken i was wrong before, that time i thought i was wrong XD

    sorry for the trolling XD

  2. Wow spanner excellent valk! congratulations!

After years of umming and ahhing about it I finally found me a VF-11C! As much as I would've happily had one ages ago, it was never on my priority list of things to get.. seeing they are so expensive and the fact I already had a VF-11B.

Ok so I probably left getting one a little too late and now having to pay the hefty asking price but I figured I needed to have one as lately I felt there was a hole which needed filling in my M7 Valkyrie collection. So yeah can't wait to get it!

    Doing the happy dance! :D

  3. for me it's easily the VF-1 (20+ variants)

YOU SIR! have earned my respect *Bow*

I have to agree with most people, i got

    2 VF-1 Arcadia

    5 VF-1 Yamato

VF-19 and VF-25 are the closest with 3 (in my case)

    VF-17

    VF-27

    VF-29

i have at least one of the others.

  4. I'm an amateur modeler as well. The Hasegawa SDF-1 is the first model kit I've ever worked on. I've completed construction and painting of major pieces. All that's left is decal, panel lines, and detail paint.

I ended up buying two more kits to replace lost/broken parts (I don't have a dedicated workspace, which is part of that problem) or to save myself the trouble of stripping and repainting parts. Since you've practiced with an airbrush (I'm using rattle cans), you'll probably have less trouble here also.

My two main challenges were masking the tan areas on the booms and the feet. The engine parts were very confusing for me...I didn't realize they needed masking until I was building the parts.

Another warning is that the forward spikes for the SDF-1 and the ARMDs are very fragile.

Anyway, if you need tips from a newbie perspective, feel free to ask.

    thanks a lot!

of course i will, i havent started yet building the SDF-1, didnt have the time, but i will when im on it.
