    Arcadia 1/60 VF-0S & VF-0A

    It's official, there's finally an Arcadia VF-0 that passes my tests! Just did my photo shoot and definitely moved the legs around quite a bit. Not only that, but i used the extension mechanism which is HARD AS HELL to do. You have to yank with the strength of a hundred men (fortunately I'm that strong) to get the extensions to slide out. If the leg didn't pop off then, I'm convinced it won't pop off. My only gripe is that the intakes still don't seat as securely as they should in fighter/GERWALK modes. Otherwise, the paint scheme on the 0S is 1000x better and 1000x more forgiving then the 0A (since the 0A had every scratch proned surface covered in very thin white paint).

    Question, has anyone else tried applying the Yamato Ghost to the Arcadia VF-0 in battroid mode? I did it, but I had to cheat because it seems like you can't clamp the back all the way down if the backpack isn't folded over (the metal swing bar has a space conflict with the big flap the comes down off the bottom of the backpack when the backpack is folded). If someone else has done this, can you confirm you had the same issue or tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Got my first ever 1/6 Hot Toys figure in yesterday. Mr. Vader himself. Pre ordered EXACLTY one year ago today...it's been a long time coming... and it was worth it!!! The Lightsaber lights up with LED along with the belt pack lights and he has sound inside along with a remote control. The sound is really good. Great catch phrases. Putting all the batts in was a royal pain. It has a total of like 15 tiny watch batteries you have to install. The MOST annoying thing however is the switch to activate the "talking mode" is under neath ALL the garments on the lower back of the figure and shuts off after 15 minutes of no activity and HAS TO BE FLIPPED ON/OFF before he will talk again. ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME??? More info later. Sorry for the sideways pics.

    First, I am new to this channel. I read this form most every day. For the most part I do enjoy your comments. I am very impressed with the revised Hi-Metal R line. I hope more people will buy into this line, so that we can all full fill our dreams of having all the mech's from SDF1 & DYRL [and beyond]. Here is my contribution to the already awesome images that had been uploaded to this form. Also I do look forward to getting all the 10 HiMetal R figures on the list.

    Well i decided to cancel my PO on the VF-0S, even though i really like it, too many doubts with the QC and with the ET VF-2S and the VF-4G, coming, too much money to spend this month.

    Hopefuly it will have better QC and after Jenius review i might get it on Jan.

    Sooo im rewatching SDF Macross and....

    The SDF-1 originally couldn't transform. It was converted after the first fold because the power conduits folded away along with the fold drive and they had to figure out a way to connect the main cannon directly to the main power reactor. The power originally routed through the fold drive.

    Yeah, thats why it transforms and it makes sense it does when they need to shot. the other series with battleship transformations do it just for show XD

    I finished watching the series couple weeks back, and with all the momentum, i went straight to 2, Plus and Zero.

    I skipped 7 because i wanted to take my time watching it again, also Zero i only watched it once when it was released around 12 years ago or so, and it got kinda blurry on my memory!

    Now back to topic:

    It was great to rewatch a show i loved so much as a kid (as robotech) and i got to appreciate as i grew up (and learning the truth around the macross/robotech thing).

    Its being years, and i still find new things i did not recall from the show before (like the VF-4G on Hikarus room (remember i watched this years ago, before i ever had a thought about collecting valks!)

    Although the last episodes kinda felt like dragged the story a bit, since the conclusion of the main story was on ep 26, i like the focus on what happened after the end, an epilogue of sorts, instead of letting all of us thinking

    that everyone lived happily ever after, seeing that there were still problems after the resolution of the story it made it feel more real, and i love it. Too bad most of my beloved anime series ended in a lame way.
