I recommend the J with FPs, so you can then use the FPs on the cannon fodder. Whenever Yamato gets around to it.

Congrats on your acquisition of the now hard to find Hikaru 1S. A 1/48 made entirely of die-cast? Imagine all the paint chips, it would look awful after a few transformations, plus the floppy arms.

Yamato released the 1/48 Millia VF-1J, 1/60 Q-Rau, and CM Miria sets, and proudly printed MIRIA on the boxes!

Also, Bandai used Miria on their release of the 1/55 re-issue. Wouldn't Bandai and Yamato have to clear this with BW? IMHO, I happen to prefer the look of the spelling Miria as opposed to Milia or Millia.

Well, I have mine.  Don't have time to take a detailed look at it, but as far as the tab goes.  I think it's supposed to be like that.  I just pushed the legs a bit back to make the front flush with the joint like Graham said.  And as far as mine goes... it locks just fine.  I can shake it up and down without it detaching.

Why? If you want that, just stick with the 1/60 version. If you look at the pic with the battroid's back on the first page, you will notice that the tip of the nosecone is not visible. Which only means that it had to have been removed. I prefer the look of the line art, which I think the 1/48 version will come closest to replicating. Viva Yamato!

If there is a VF-1J w/GBP, I hope Yamato will make the package more like a diarama "prepare for launch"~

Do you mean a hangar with catwalk and maintenance crew? I would guess only if they are painted within the box. I would just prefer a sturdier box with a beautiful painting of the GBP, but some cell art from "Miss Macross" featuring the GBP would be okay. Definately getting at least 3 sets. 1 for my nekkid 1J, 1 for the forthcoming Roy 1S and a hopeful 1 for a CF.

I love the CF 1/55.  Though it's put away now due to lack of space.

The CF looks even better when outfitted with FPs, IMHO. Make that all 1/55s, especially Hikaru's 1A. It's my fav 1/55 that is being displayed at the moment. Although I'm getting a hankerin' to display some M&M with FPs.
