    For now I'm just pre-ordering the blue Alpha for $69. I saw it and held the production sample at MWCon4. Everything about it was great, the only drawback is that it's on the small side. So getting it for $10 below list price is alright with me. I will only get the other varients if, I mean when I find them at a discount.

    If Yamato plans to reissue Roy's 1S, I hope it's the tv version (cockpit, arms, "mickey mouse" hands, black arrows on head, and pilot with gray(?) and black flightsuit). I know most fans will double dip on the Skull. So, go ahead Yamato, make our day. :)

    Welcome to MW polar, I'm sure you'll find everything Macross related here, and then some. Just to let you know, the canon mode terms are: fighter (jet), gerwalk (half jet-half robot) and battroid (robot). You'll be happy to know that there are other members here from down under. :)

    I really want the CF. Hopefully Yamato has this next on their list. Then maybe a limited version (a la low-vis) of the CF with the J head. After that, they can release all of the different VF-1 varients, cuzz I want them all. :D

    just spend the money and get yourself some takatoys stickers.. worth the money and the time it takes to cut them out.

    Yup, Takatoys' 1/48 stickers are great. When viewed at a certain angle you can notice a sheen. I prefer a flat finish, so I use a 1/4" wide brush and Testor's Model Master Clear Flat Finish #FS30000. I just applied all the stickers for Hikaru's 1J and they almost look like they are painted on. Can't wait to start on Max & Miria.

    is this very suggestive? i was just trying to compare the accuracy of the Toynami Gerwalk mode to that of the Yamato 1/48... :p

    You can click back the feet of the 1/48 one more time, and the lower leg forward one more time to get a better looking gerwalk pose.

    It's so funny, because I get a lot of PMs asking if Minmay is giving the bird specifically at them... I don't get why people take it so personal... but then again sometimes I feel like she's giving it to me... :unsure:

    I always thought she was just pointing to "The Plane! The Plane!". You know, she just prefers using her middle finger instead of her index. :p

    Hey Jason, I know you're looking for the FPs by themselves, but there's an anime dealer at Frank & Son that has the Super 1S for only $65. Don't know their name, they're located near the center and have all their valks displayed at the top of their booth. I was thinking of getting another Super 1S for the FP from them. I already have 4 sets and sold the valks. I guess you can't have enough FPs. ;)

    I'd rather watch 100 innovative, thoughtful, and "slow" films that take risks than suffer through another completely useless, forgettable, too dependent on special effects "blockbuster".

    Amen brother. This film is up there with The Shining. Psychological thillers are the best of the scary movies.
