So I'm receiving my VF-1S Roy Focker Special on Friday, I was wandering is this the TV or Movie version, or does it really mater? Was there any differences between the two...

Bandai released the TV Super Parts almost at the same time as this Valk. So it would indicate its a TV version.

It's the TV version, per the included specific Roy pilot:

I thought it might be a bit strange that the metal parts are left bare, but thankfully in the article it mentions:

“The metal parts peeking through the legs are painted in the product.”

It would be nice for Bandai to leave them bare-but-shiny metal as a nice homage to the old 1/24 Takara dual-models:

Will be a much better homage than just the retro box/pkging homages Bandai did for the HM-Rs Dougram, Soltic and Orguss...

...Each part has a range of motion, allowing you to pose it in a variety of powerful action poses. Also, by using die-cast parts unique to HI-METAL R for the joints, you can enjoy precise movement and landing poses. This is the birth of Scope Dock's ideal finished action toy

Gotta check my old HM-R Dougram and Solitc later to see if they have metal feet like this upcoming HM-R Scopedog.

  4.

    take away from that video:

    • seems the non-straight / bendy head-laser installed by default is the norm on this release.  So far, why don't these VF-2G Revival owners just  replace the bendy head-laser ASAP with the separate "rigid" head-laser in the package?

    • he demo'ed the loose left hip and loose left shoulder that seems to be trending with this Revival edition.
  5. HeppokoSamurai's is quite dissatisfied with his Super VF-25G:

Michelle's machine's legs are still loose even after tightening them. I guess I have to chew on something.

  6. Honestly...

I think Arcadia's still trying to recoup their losses from all those broken toys their previous (or current) factory produced.

VF-0A, SV-51 Ivanov, and the YF-19/PF-YF-19 fiascos come to mind immediately...

I remember a couple years ago I could not buy certain Macross items from Amazon JP-it said 'due to licensing restrictions we are not allowed to sell to you'

I can't remember what it applied to...was it games or toys? LOL

It's has gotten quite random at amz-jp, in at least the last 5 or so years, and it's not just macross-specific toys/games/videos/etc.

In my case, it'll usually be some Bandai-branded toys (like certain Soul of Chogokins, etc).

Sometimes, they'll block some Arcadia toys, too.

No rhyme nor reason at all.

Tenjin-san supervised colors on the 0D...that explains the final uncommon color amongst bandai's releases...

    👍👍:yahoo:

Along with his color-supervision of this HMR VF-0D, I really would like to believe that it was also Tenjin who forced Bandai to add and keep the yellow-detail on the missiles.

Would've been nice if they're orange stripes instead, but it's all good considering the glaring absence of the yellow-detail on the cluster-missiles of Bandai's HMR Roy VF-0S...
