1/60 max, I don't have the room or the money for anything bigger. I have a 1/48 F-14 kit and I need to keep that sucker sitting on it's tail since I have not room to keep it otherwise.

You gotta be shitting me! NO two ARMDs are alike? What happens if one of them get fragged? They wouldnt be able to fix one with parts or armor plate that they had extra unless they had produced if for THAT particular vessel. If the stockpiles of spare parts goes up and the ship gets damaged its an expensive paper weight. If the pics on the Macross II rpg book that covers the Macross are anything to go by, then the diffrences only seem cosmetic. Looking at ARMD-1 and 2 (the Macross's arms) the bridge is on opposite sides, but it's still the same bridge, and those things sticking out from the sides (manuvering thrusters? the main engines?) are shaped diffrently, 1's is taller, and 2's is wider, but I'm sure they share the gross majority of components.

I wish Bandai would make some HGUC quality kits of Macross 7 VFs, parts swapping or no. If Bandai were to make VF (especialy the Varuta ones) kits on the HGUC level and sell them at the same price, I can just about guarntee that Yamato isn't getting any more of my money in terms of Maross stuff.

I do the best of both worlds when posing my VF's, my 1/60 Focker ditched his pansy-ass GU-11 for a Wing Zero, 2x buster rifle, and my VF-19S ditched his gunpod for a spare Zeta Gundam beam rifle.

That's why you take the Der Fueher approach, scare them sh!tless about what will happen if they mess with your stuff. I've seen it done and it works.

Either way, when it comes to Macross stuff, I just wait till you people get it and depending on how many people piss and moan about it, how much money I have, and if I'm even interested in the thing, I'll get it, or pass on it.

If anyone from Yamato roams around here... Either you guys start making other VFs besides the 1 or I give my money to Bandai for their Gundam kits...

I really don't care what route they take as long as... A: It looks close to the line art B: It's afforable, I'm not crapping out more than $70 for it... C: I can put it in about as many poses as an HGUC Gundam kit. And after skimming through this thread it looks like to fufill those three it'll need to have some parts swapped.

I don't know many people who have a room that they could use for that, and kids have a bad habit of being able to find anything, it's only a matter of time. My friend has this problem since there's always a lot of little kids at his place, and the Der Fueher approach seems to work well, they can reach his stuff but they're scared to death about what he'd do if the actualy messed with them.
