I honestly think the PS3 is still too expensive and still unjustifiable for me as a BD-player. Part of the reason is that I'm not into playing console-games and the PS3-games themselves are still expensive,

However, it would be so much awesome win if the DYRL-game and any upcoming Frontier-game comes over to the PS3 domestically here in the US. Then and only then will I really put the cash out on purchasing a PS3 right away.

Even if they dont release domestically you can still import them and play them on the PS3 with no converter needed.

So it in a way is a good deal if you want to import the movies and games from japan plus have some domestic games you wanna play. I do still think its a tad high (sarcasm). I so far I only have one game for it and I got mine launch day, still waiting for Metal Gear Solid 4 and Final Fantasy XIII and XIII Versus to make it earn its keep domestic wise. The fact i am importing Zero and all the Frontier Blu-rays also makes it a little more worth it for me but now that I think of it just importing Zero and Vol 1 and 2 of Frontier cost almost as much as my PS3.

GOD I WANT A PS# MACROSS GAME OF ANY MACROSS ERA!!!!! I loved the one on my PS2.

Nope it is not. Your thinking of a different file which notes that it is an audio rip. Just try the raw sites azrael listed and youll find it.

Amazon JP has preorders up for new Macross items from Frontier. So far I have been able to order from them with no problems using their english interface. Right now I have Macross Frontier vol 1 and2 and Macross Zero preordered on Blu-ray disc but would also like to order any frontier music CDS and the collections of the two frontier mangas. But I am unable to read enogh of the item listings to find the exact items. can anyone here post links to the preorders for the mangas and the music cds. I think i found two music CDs but can tell what exactly they are, one looks like the OSt and the other possibly a single?

The best story point snd episodes in my opinion.

I have not watched the Gattai subs yet but from what I have read on the forum, they are better than the Gattai, so I will stick with them.

Plus Gattai has had to have a second release of episode 2 titled [Gattai+foganime] Macross Frontier - 02 (1280x720).mkv to add the subs they forgot to the opening and ending songs. Even with that their are still errors such as Ozuma clearly saying "Cathy" but they sub it as "It's Him" refering to another character entirely. They based that off who he was talking about in the previous conversation he was just in.

I plan to download all subs for the series till it is completed and then pick the over all best in the end to hang on to, to think of it I am downloading every version of frontier, every sub, raw etc no matter who does it, heck I have 7 versions of just the broadcast of episode 1 not counting the deculture versions, yeah I like it alot so far.

Well I admit in the past I didnt like Macross II as much as I do now. I bought it when it came out just cause it had the name Macross in it. It was so-so to me then. But as I got older I came to appreciate it on its own merits. I was pleased with the look and equipment of the VF-2SS but not so with the VF-2J. I thought the VF-2SS pilot suits were better than the flight suits used in SDF Macross, Macross DYRL, Plus and Frontier. I still am not a fan of any of the UN capital ships and any other of their mecha and Variables in the animation, the same goes for the Marduk mecha like Feff's. It felt like the designs were too un-Macross, more in line with a Gundam or Dark Super Robot 80s series. As for characters the only ones I appreciated from a design point was Silvie and Ishtar (pre-haircut god that hair cut was awful).

I agree with Sergorn I would like a rerelease of it or at the least a good source of a raw of it as the foreign releases suffer from degraded images compaired to the Japan release.

One of the magazines did list the name of the commander of the VF-171 force, but I forget what it was. IIRC though it may have been a girl.

Isnt she in the manga ch 1? I believe it listed her name there. She reminds me of the girl in the opening sequence in blue that appears around the Battle 25 at 2:18 on episode 2 in the opening sequence. At least i hope its a woman as if its a guy Alto has competition for the Hime title. Her chest appears flat but it could be the clothes or i hope anyway cause that being has alot of feminine looks.

Well it could juste as easily be 3 episodes per disk. If the first one includes only the first couple of episodes, ca would make 26. Of course I'd definitly like to have 39 episodes series.... but I doubt it

As for the Yakku Deculture Edition, my ! Is we have a longest cut on the DVD that's just awesome !

Man I just wish there was a chance a DVD (or even Better Blu-Ray) release here

Might as well consider it a blu-ray release here. You see North America and Japan are both Region 1 on Blu-ray. So Japanese Blu-rays will play on a north american system, finally my PS3 will go to good use, I bought it at launch for Metal Gear and Final Fantasy and they arent out yet so all it does is play my one game for it Gundam Crossfire.

A.C.E 2 was a hoot with the Macross DYRL parts and units, so i'm hoping part 3 and the finale holds up to that!

Yep got all three ACE games (got all the limited editions and preorder bonus'), yes this is the best one of the three.

Dont want to sound like I am bragging but what is your ISP up and downspeed and torrent program? I am getting 96-125 KBs using Bitlord and a 6mb download and 512 up speed (thats what i pay for but dont always get).
