    I'm using ePSXe for these screencaps. And I just alternated for these screencaps. Otherwise, I normally go Suzie all the way. ;D

    Yeah I agree choosing a female wingmate or a male....female every time.

    To tell you the truth, that's pretty close to my situation as well. Never seen the ending since it locks up right after Aegis returns to the ship. XD

    Hey Torii are you playing it on an emulator by the way of a PS1? Also screen capture number 153 and 164 I dont remember. Where those cause you didnt choose Suzie constantly for your wingman its been awhile since I played the whole game and I only ever used just Thoma one play through years ago.

    Here's what I could get from the first level on a second playthrough. The Armored Battroid, Armored Thunderbolt, and Koenig Monster are only available on certain stages, so they'll be put in when I can get to those stages. I'll try and screencap the stuff Sorata did with his camera later.

    So in short, what this has:

    - At least 9 pictures for each VF (selection screen + gameplay)

    - Prologue pictures

    - VFX-2 OP and Macross 13 Cinematic

    Torii I have a strange request if you can. Though I have the game and played and beat it believe it or not I have never seen the ending after the in game scene showing the fleet firing on Macross 13 after your VF attacks it and the fight with your wingman is over. Though I have read what the ending shows and have a save completed file thanks to a friend who no longer has the game. My game locks up there everytime after that ingame scene even though it has no scratches on the disc and its in mint condition. I think it is due to the method I use to play it is a psXchange 2 disc swap. Could you possibly record the ending in a video?

    And to Mr March I like both the pics and the synopsis. Thanks for your efforts for the community.

    The second one is the closest one by the game. Also the Battroid head glass should be neon green and the two triangles on each leg below the knee should be yellow and the nose and heat shield are a little darker. Also the heatshield has no emblem (Edit i stand corrected after loading up the first mission I noticed at times the emblem does appear off and on on the heatshield and it is yellow.) The canards dont have yellow edges. Hope that helps.

    By the Way in one mission your codenamed Minmay 1 and your wingman Minmay 2 :) The same mission you fight 9 Ghost Fighters and a green and tan VF-19.

    Commander Wilbur Garland: Commander of the VF-X Ravens, gives you your mission briefings. Later pilots a VF-22 as your enemy.

    Captain Gilliam Angreat: Flight Leader of the VF-X Ravens. Eventually leaves and the post is turned over to you. Pilots a VF-19A

    Syun Tohma and Suzie Newtlet: Newest rookies to the VF-X Ravens you choose which one is your wingman throughout the game. Both pilot the VF-11B.

    Timoshie Daldahnton : leader of terrorist group Black.... (Black Ravens or Black Rainbow I have see it listed as both but believe it is suppossed to be Rainbow) aka "All-Kill Wizard" piloted the Fz-150 Pheyos Valkyrie when target in the stage it is destroyed its labeled as "FEIOUS"

    Manfred Brando: President of the Critical Path Corporation and pilot of the Red VF-17S, inventor of a new device that can disrupt the lock-on functions of the enemy used in his Valkyrie and the Macross-13 (called a sound jammer I believe).

    Eimi Clocks: Secretary of Commander Garland and helps deliver your missions briefing.

    Brigitte Spark and Clara Callete: Your mission controllers. (Callete appears in several date scenes with Aegis Focker)

    Mariafokina Barnrose: Green haired Zentraedi pilot enemy/friend who pilots a VF-1J "Milia" Valkyrie in the scheme Milia used in the original series.

    EDIT: By the way your Uraga Class Escort Battle Carrier is Zentraedi green :) I believe its a modified Uraga called CV-565

    In the context of the game the VF-11B used as any other VF-11 would be as a genral fighter. The Konig however plays the heavy armor and firepower role being forced as your craft choice in a city battle against a Valkyrie boss and a heavy mech weapon boss that is about the size or a little bigger than the Konig. No statistic I can see are listed in the game, those might be in a game guide though as I do remember an old site at one time had the attck and defense etc of each craft listed in a scale chart but the site is long since gone.

    Lets see the VF-17s piloted by Brando in the game is almost the exact same as Milia's in Macross 7 though art shows it more maroon in color in game its more red. As for the VF-11B its white with 2 UN Spacy kites on the nose and one on the left wing's top. The Battroid modes heat shield is the same color as the nose section and also the tails of the VF-11B has yellow and black caution style stripes with a white skull with red eye patch logo. The Battroid camera cover is green. And the nose is a yellow orange hue similar to many model paintjobs of the VF-4 nose.

    The VF-11B is piloted by your character Capt Focker and Suzie Newtlet and Syun Tohma.

Most pics are for color and marking references. And it is very hard to get picks of the Valkyries as the camera only pans in combat or in cutscenes so bear with the fuzzy pics.

    I there are any members so inclined, scans of the instruction book pages with the character bios might be helpful, too.

    edit: Since I can't read Japanese, I'm not sure if the character bios tell you what the characters piloted. If not, maybe someone who knows more than I do can post up a list of fighters and their pilots.

    I'll post all of that when I can.

    I have VF-X 1 and 2, Macross M3 and Macross for PS2 so I will load up the games in a little while and give you as much info as I can.

    Edit:

    You fly as Captain Aegis Focker, in the VF-11B in the game your weapon choices are the gunpod, and for sub-weapons: Standard Missiles, HI-Manuver Missiles, and Chaff.

    After finishing the game once and saving you have access to the Full Armored VF-11B starting at mission Mission: "Moby Dick" that cant transform in game but has the long range gunpod and for sub weapons: Micro Missiles, Grenade Crusher, and Nuclear Missiles.

    The standard VF-11B is available from the games opening mission. I'll post more with pics as I replay the game.

    Well with any of the designs their would have to be a little compromise. I myself was in the Navy in aviation (unfortuantely got my DD214 due to medical) and as much as I would rather see the VF-1 or VF-0 as they are similar to the F-14 series the 19 is just as plausable and I would personaly rather fly it. Plus the VF-1 and VF-0 designs are moving away from the designs the military is aiming for in general these days.

    Well you can preorder A.C.E 3 at yesasia.com and play-asia.com If you want info on the first 2 games go to ebay to get them cheap or the two stores I mentioned above and also go here gamefaqs.com for walkthroughs and info on them, also wikipedia has menu translations for A.C.E 2.

    As for english i am sorry to say the games dont come in english so you need a modded PS2 also the A.C.E game has yet to get a story translation much to the A.C.E fan communitys dislike but no one has took time or has the knowledge needed to do a story or in game email translation. I got A.C.E. 2 and A.C.E. 1 Limited Edition brand new from the same seller on ebay for a really good price. (probably since I get all my macross and gundam ps2 games from the same person who usually also sends me postcards, posters and other freebies with my orders.)

    There is hope the VF-11B will make it because an important character (Isamu) flew it in Mac+. No VF-19A, VF-17D, VF-5000 ? that sucks. Maybe in the next macross themed game :(
    Well seeing as they are slowly still releasing new units for listing their is a chance for the VF-11B to be in the game. Dont hold out for those other Variable Fighters though. Cause if this game is like A.C.E 2 then the Mecha you choose has a certain pilot attached to it from the show and since Macross 7 isnt on the list of series and the VF-5000 didnt have a "main" character for a pilot like Isamu with the Yf-19 the chance is extremely low of it being in the game.

    However if Macross 7 was added to the list of covered series chances would be the VF-17 would be in the game with Gamlin as its pilot. But the company that makes the A.C.E series usually does not mention a series being added to the game line up roster past the inital list of covered series they issue but they do slowly reveal the mechas till game release.

    They are starting to add more original mecha such as Blood Ark is mentioned being in the game in the lastest japanese magazine scans which appears to have a mysterious pilot and is similar to the Ark units in A.C.E 2 and they are adding non anime material such as Nu Gundam's HWM system is now shown to be in the game but it was never animated and only shown on models and toys.

    1/60 YF-19 Fast Packs & Fold Booster

    Whoa! I've never seen this game before. Which platfom is it? Is it any good? I've seen there's a Q-Rau there as well, sweet!

    The VF-19 is too sentai for Macross standards (just like the whole M7 series), but I'd love to have a blue VF-19s. I love the head and the scheme is good enough for me. I can't stand Basara's tho'. looks too much like a Megazord to me with the face and the burning red scheme, UGH!

You can find the 1st 2 games on ebay or import stores. The first game by the way had a collectors edition but it is only in the last game that the Yf-19 and YF-21 show up. In A.C.E. 2 the Q-rau was in the game with Miria as the pilot from the DYRL movie version. I got the first game for 50 buck unopened collector edition on ebay and the second game new as well for 45 on ebay when they came out. Just preordered the third game for its preorder bonus from yesasia.com Good place for info on the first two games is Gamefaqs.com

    Well if they do make a VF-11 I hope it has the B and C versions Gunpods as well as the Full Armor Set released later. As for the YF-21 I cant wait to see how the prototypes look and this just spead up the urgency for me to get my YF-19 and fold booster set. Good timing as I will be taking a new job soon earning twice what I earn now but luckily my bills wont increase which equals more $ for Macross goods :)
