    Yamato Stand!

I could do that with a banpresto or toynami valk but not a Yam. Too scared it would fall.
  2. If enough of my TF"s sell I likely will.
  3. I know but 20 of them plus the shipping. Its the shipping that scares me.
  4. I wonder if they'll work out some sort of special if I by several. A cannon fodder army with the monster would be spiffy.

  6. hehe, only orange and brown G1 figure that was made was the roadbuster. If they remade him, that'd be cool too! Even though he wasn't in the cartoon. I know that he was at least in the comics. Are you sure that he didnt appear in the cartoon. Its a friggin amazing figure. I'd love to see an upated version whether it be by HasTak or another company. An updated whirl would also be nice. yup, both him and whirl never appeared in the cartoons. They were actually from mugen caliber, some japanese anime series. I think these were added just to spice up toy line a little because sales weren't doing so well for the second or third season of the toys. Yeah dorvack. A great obscure line.

  8. Could you imagine Yamato updates to the figures?!!! Roadbuster is probably one of my favorite TF's. It has some unique hip joints.
  9. If they packaged them all in robot mode then the boxes would be 1/3 to 1/2 the size.
  10. I didnt think civilians could own such items.
  11. Will it be able to support it own weight? So we are getting a 1/100 and a 1/60? The 1/60 will transform right? The 1/60 will not transform cause is the original monster and its not variable, the VFX-2 1/100 koening monster yes. The monster is huge but it is not a variable mech so will be easier balance the weight. I suppose it will cost between 200-250 bucks. If it doesnt transform then I assume most of the weight will be in the legs and the cannons will be ABS or some other sort of plastic.
  12. Thank ya! Working link: http://www.toyboxdx.com/data/takatoku2/dorvack.html
  13. Expect a price around the 300$ USD What's the production amount for these then? That just seems a little to high. $250 tops.

  15. He's up to it again: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...5924038473&rd=1 If only he'd actually ship the items that you pay for.
  16. I know it exists and I love the 2 transformers that spawned from the line (whirl & roadbuster), but haven't found anything about the anime. I'd greatly appreciate picks of any figures and show caps.
  17. Let me get in my last words before this becomes an all out flame war. I was suggesting a bookstyle packaging and not neccessarily an exact copy of the MP RT line. Just the same general idea. It could be much more bland, but decent enough and of the right form factor that it not only could be, but more importantly, that you would actually want to display them. I suggested a mark up of $10 - 20 for the packaging which would go towards materials, R&R, etc. The markup would acount for all costs (they can use the previously allocated funds for the old boxes to go towards the costs of the new books). Hence, there SHOULDN"T be any loss in quality of the Yams.
  18. Let me first explain what brought this on and I am prepared to be flamed. I simply love the Toynami MP RT line of packaging. Those boxes/books actually make me want to display them along side my collection. I know that the figures themselves have few reedming qualities (the LED is nifty), but the packaging is stellar. So, I pose the question why doesnt Yamato market these figures with a book style packaging? I know that it would be unlikely to get large releases (1/48, Monster, etc.) in this style of box, but the 1/60's and smaller should be pretty easy. Hell the boxes/books would likely even be smaller than our current windowed boxes (they will be thicker however). I would gladly pay the additional $10-20 USD for the nice book style packaging. IMHO these Yamato figures deserve this treatment. Thoughts?
  19. Thank ya. Doesnt look that bad for the money. I'll see if I can find one cheap just to mess with.
  20. Oops, sorry I thought you were talking about these I am ~$10-15 USD. I just would like to see a gallery of the little buggers. The online stores don't have any decent out of package pics.
  21. Tried searching, but couldnt find a recent topic. Anyways, is there an actual gallery anywhere of the ~1/100 scale Banpresto Valks. Are they worth the couple bucks?
  22. I shot kevin a PM, but he's been, understandibly, a little preoccupied as of late. I'l probably PM/email him this weekend if he doesnt get back in touch with me first. I actually might prefer the 1/60's to the 1/48 for some unknown reason (not even the cost). Thanks guys for the help and for not shooting me down for my noob questions.
  23. How does the 1/48 armor "latch" onto the figure? Just got the regular VF-1J and want to order a set of strike parts. Also, what is the general concessus on the mmagazine exclusive clear super covers/parts (are they decent quality, are they worth it)? Thank ya.
